Got a threatening call from "kevin" a recording...im angry

I got a message from Kevin.  He said: "Someone has stolen in my office and YOU HAVE to make an arrangement before 48 hours".  

That is a fraud, take care about this person, because I don't have nothing to blame about myself.  I won't call him back, because I don't want to have nothing to do with him.

got a call at my office, only caught the ending of the message.. but the Caller display number showed 905-413-8628, threatened me that if I don't call 1-877-305-2079 immediately, this matter will be escalated..  I'm sure this is a fraud of some sort.  but I'm not willing to call the numbers to find out.  Also, if it was THAT important - even collections agencies aren't that dumb to use a pre-recorded message and would want to actually get a hold of someone to threaten them in person.

This number (1-877-305-2079) keeps calling all the business lines in a shared office I am in with threatening words which is illegal.  Sounds a lot like fraud.

If they don't identify in full what company they are representing then I don't call them back and I don't answer the phone.  

If you have already given them information then you may want to contact Pre-Paid Legal (PPL.com) about clearing your identity.

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection. I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

Call the 905 number. Tell them you are recording the phone call. Also, as I did and if possible, have the local police fraud squad on the phone. That takes care of it.

Rec'd a threatening voice mail from this company, to "be in thier office" etc., etc. Was on a cell phone. Is this a way of racking up expensive cell services. How did they get our cell #? Is our carrier selling our # to telelmarketers? Why aren't they calling our home#?
