- LynnWI have been getting letters from someone that wants me to purchase extended warranty on my pickup. Seems weird as there is no name or address on the letter only this phone number.

- JessB| 1 replyDitto, except it's my husband receiving the notices. We've gotten nine or ten post cards warning about "the expiration of the factory warranty on your vehicle" with no mention of which vehicle they are referring to. Besides which both of our vehicles are certified pre-owned and neither of us bought any warranty on them.
- Kelli replies to JessBI've gotten ten notices in the last two weeks. The letters seem to imply they're coming from the dmv from the outside. I called the # outside business hours and it was nonsense elevator music. On the bottom of the note, it states that "Vehicle Solutions" has created the advertisement for coverage. Definitely a scam.
- JimThey just keep sending and sending them! I Just keep shredding and shredding them. Just like the telephone calls we keep getting. I got tired of reporting them as nothing was ever done about them. That's our Government at work!
- spsame here. very annoying! They don't even know the make because it says Toyota-Nissan-Honda which I don't own.
- HsJust got 2 letters today in the mail (one was 10 days late of original notice) and one letter last week. One letter says it's from "Motor Vehicle Division," but no company address. Says its for Make: Nissan-Toyota-Honda. I noticed I just just started getting these letters not long after I change my license plate from SC to NC. I wonder if some company has a hold on NC's license information.
- TDDSCAM SCAM SCAM
I bought a used car a month back and I have been receiving such mails since then. Finally just to be on the safer side I called them up when the letter title had "Motor Vehicle Division" on it. I didn't want to ignore any notice from DMV, if it were.
When I called up, there was no greeting message mentioning the name of the organization. Weird!!
After about 5 mins of hold, some super rude person talks to me and tries to scare me of having factory warranty expired and not having any warranty on my vehicle.
PLEASE IGNORE ANY SUCH MAILS OR NOTICES... THEY ARE SCAM!!! - Sandy CullumI've been receiving annoying phone calls and mail from this number also. The times I have answered the call, I've told them I'm not interested in an extended warranty otherwise I would have purchased it at the time we bought our truck. I have also asked the caller to remove our phone number from their calling list. It's like talking to a brick and the calls continue.
- texreceived a letter with this number at the bottom, like the posters above naming a bunch of different makes and models, making it seem like it came from the DMV. I wish they had an address so I could send back the shredded up letter. Letters of this type started up shortly after purchasing a new car. Obvious scam. Not calling the number. Upset that there isn't any real VALID recourse to stopping this crap.

- NicoleI never leave a comment about things like this, but this was so bad I just had to let others know. I have received about 10-15 letters in the mail within 2 weeks. I called them to ask to be taken off the mailing list. I was pretty sure it was a scam but I wanted stop getting my mailbox filled with the letters each day. A male answered saying "Thank you for calling, how may I help you?" I asked to be taken off the mailing list 4-5 times, and he just got angry with me, and continued to attempt to sell me a warranty. Finally I sternly said "this is the last time I'm going to ask you to take me off of the mailing list"....his response was "good luck then ma'am...I hope something happens to you" and hung up. I was absolutely speechless. I had to call my husband in anger. These people are a scam and they are just horrible people.

- BudYou need to call the place you bought the vehicle and berate them for selling your address.

- Brian HaugDefinitely a scam! I've also been getting letters from various places, looking 'official' - but with all kinds of different numbers. I decided to call this one cause it said something about 'DMV' and saying my warranty is about to expire, and after being on hold there was a nice woman trying to sell a warranty on my Toyota (factory warranty expired LAST YEAR). I explained that I'm going for disability and have no money coming in. She reduced the price, but I said I still wasn't sure about being able to afford it. She said she would ask her supervisor about reducing it further..
THEN this [***] got on the line and tried high-pressure techniques, saying that ~75% of Toyota's business is from servicing - why do you think that is?" (Yeah - right. Toyota with the highest reliability (from 1st hand experience with a previous used Toyota, no less!)
Anyway, I said I still wasn't sure and asked for their company's name - so I could research it further. Then he got incredibly rude and said "I'm not going to divulge anything further as I think you're going to use it for "malicious purposes"". (whatever the heck THAT means??).. So I just said "okay, take care then" Then he hung straight up.
Whatever, jerk! Scam for sure. (That woman seemed to be too nice to be working for scam artists, though - hope she find a better, legitimate job.. At least SHE was sincerely nice.))- Caller: Scam
