I received a call from the Oregon Attorney General's office after I had filed a complaint with them.  The AAG confirmed this is a complete scam operating out of another company.  DON'T give them any information. File a complaint with your state attorney general. DON'T let these fools con you!

Somehow these people are tracing your number and the numbers of your loved ones!! They call, harass, and threaten using illegal extortion tactics!! There ought to be a law against people tracing your number without a warrant!! People pretending to be process servers/private investigators. Numbers used!!! 877-309-9571 and 877-326-0156

SCAM ALERT!!!  I received a call from 877-309-9571 on Monday, April 13th of a claim “they had in their office”.  They claimed I owed a BCD Group for a payday loan in 2012 (yes, I had taken a payday loan a few years ago and paid it off but the company was not BCD.  I’ve never heard of BCD).  I demanded that proof be sent to me of the alleged debt.  I gave the caller the email address I use for spam.  Two days later via email I received an unsigned, undated letter from a National Asset Recovery Systems, North Eastern Ohio, P.O. Box 175, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.  A google search came up with http://narinc.net/ however, there is no phone number on the site to contact them.  [I should mention that I’ve been a legal secretary for 22 years so I know how the legal process works..]  I replied to that email attaching a letter demanding proof of the debt pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and alerted them that upon proof of same I would provide them with the name of my attorney.

On Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:04 am I received a call on my cell phone and voice mail from 877-309-9571. Voicemail: [my name] In accordance to state and federal regulations you are being notified of a pending claim in our office. your file number is xxxxx. It is in your best interest to speak to a live representative now by pressing one or by having you or your legal counsel contact 877-309-9571. This is an urgent matter. Please reference your file no xxxxx when calling in. Thank you.”

I called the number back and a woman answered.  She asked for my phone number.  And then said she could not find my phone number (which is weird since they had just called it!).  I then advised her that I had their file number which was referenced twice on my voice mail.  She then put me on hold and came back advising me that the call was made in error and to please disregard.  They are scammers!!!!  DO NOT PAY THEM!!!

Received a call from 877-309-9571 which was exactly worded according to Jen's testimony. I have received many if these over the past two years threatening legal action blah blah blah. Yet my credit record is clean. The have even phoned relatives. I simply block their numbers and ignore them. They bore me now!
