- jeffwawathis company called today from the number 206-674-7507 and left a computer generated message on our answering machine. they asked for my mom by name and said that they needed to talk to her about a debt. they told her to call them back at 877-317-0948, then told her to wait for 3 seconds and that if she was still on the line after 3 seconds she is confirming that she's the person in question. pretty weird if you ask me. even weirder that they knew my moms name!

- mickmouse| 1 replyI got the same call several times on my voice mail at work !! SOoooo I finally got a hold of someone there which is E R Solutions. They are calling me for a bill for Qwest for $37.71 that was not paid because Qwrst was trying to bill me for a months service of phone & internet for a whole month when I had the service disconnected the middle of the prior month to go to straight cell service !!!! I kept disputing the $120.00 charge never heard from them again and now I get a collection call !!! I have no problem paying for the time I had the service but they were crazy to think I was paying for something that I wasn't using !!! Pd the 37.71 and all is well.

- goodwindI got a call too. I had Qwest internet for $44 per month. Canceled the service and waiting for a closing bill. Expecting a bill for around $50. Then got a collections notice for $140 and the phone calls came. I called Qwest directly to clear up the problem. We'll see if they fix it correctly. ER Solutions is apparently their legal department or something.
- stillnotkingER Solutions is who is calling from this number. They are a collection agency that is well known for predatory calling practices that cross the borderline into harassment. They represent QWest on accounts that show any past due amount whether QWest has sent you a final bill or not, whether you have been sent a disconnect notice or not, and do not care if your bill is in dispute. Do not answer these calls unless you want to encourage them further, as they tend to take any and all human responses as people trying to dodge their bills and assume whoever answers owes them money whether it's the person they are asking for or not.

- cabochickok so these people have been calling me for the past 6 months or so, apparently it was for a house appraisal done back about 5 years ago. The appraiser was inexperienced (actually was the son of the owner, son had not done many appraisals before), never appraised a duplex before, and didn't do a proper appraisal, bottom line was we could not secure financing with the appraisal and had to get a proper one done. They were told they would not be paid. Now this company is hounding me for the bill. both my mortgage guy and my realtor talked to the woman, Cindy, at the collection company. She is a total beeotch and said I have to pay. Both my mortgage guy and realtor said they would testify on my behalf if this goes to court.
- HaddEnough| 1 replyThis is the third time I have been overcharged in the last three years; move a lot due to work. Everytime, Qwest is dishonest on the charges and sends to collection any recently aged billings, no matter what the disposition.
Qwest is an [***], loser company!
Here is where to send your 'cease collection' letter.
Use their local number if you really need to call them, turn-off your telID, when you call.

This is a written request for validation of the debt referred to in your recent letter. The Federal Trade Commission, in 15 U.SC. 1692g, requires that debt collectors cease collection of a debt until verification of that debt is mailed to consumers.
Please provide this information in writing via U.S. mail at the address listed above.

- ArizonaReceived a call from 877-317-0948 they claimed that they are a Solutions Company collecting for Qwest accounts (Qwest phone service). I said which account, they said they could not give me an account number or information, until I "verify" my personal information first. I informed the lady that she "called me" and I do not wish to give my information out over the phone, plus my accounts with Qwest was current. She kept saying it wasn't and but would not give me the account number. We finally both agreed to say GOOD BYE.

- JoHave had three calls on my cell number from 1-877-317-0948. It rings and never stays on long enough to answer the call. Have no idea why they would be calling me as I've never had a Qwest account and never will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish they would quit being cowards and stay on the line when they waste my time and battery to call me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- dudeQwest sucks, i know what they can do with that bundle and where they can put it.
Seriously. - MariIn the state of WA, if a debt collector calls you more than 3 times in a 7 day period or more than once a week at your job (while your working), then each violation (call) has statutory damages of $2,000 per call. Unless they're raised in the limit recently in WA state small claims court for a $22 filing fee you can sue for up to $5,000. I believe the most you can ask for utilizing treble damages on an action in regular court is $25,000 (but the way you would have to do it is slightly different)
Anway, I've illustrated step-by-step instructions on how to do this - sue abusive debt collectors in small claims court (no attorney needed, you do it yourself) and turn those harassing & annoying phone calls into cold hard cash. I tell you everything I know, what RCWs they are violating, how they all connect and where in the RCWs it says you're entitled to the $2,000 for every call in violation of the law. I'm doing this for free as my part to Pay-It-Forward. And certainly feel free to send others to the site as well. It think it's wonderful that people are on the internet letting others know who these obnoxious people are calling, pretexting, lying, violating the law, etc. Keep up the good work. All of you.- Caller: Unknown
- Todd Monroe| 2 repliesThis is the biggest group of dumb ignorant idiots one web site can hold... There would be no need for collection agencies if people would only take responsibility. Here is my argument. WHy do collection agencies call? Because people do not pay their bills. Therefore what would stop collection agencies from calling? People paying their bills.
Second argument you have rights as a consumer. If you have moral standards why not take them into account when speaking with people.- Caller: ers
- WalterMr High and Mighty Todd Monroe,
Before you open your mouth and speak I would ask that you shut it and look around you at the number of people in our society that have found themselves without employment and unable to find gainful employment. So to say that this is the "biggest group of dumb ignorant idiots", I would have to say that you are pretty ignorant. And you want to talk about moral standards? Lets talk about your moral standards of talking to people that you dont even know telling then to pay their bills. Well I for one couldnt pay my bills. Because I was diagnosed with MS and lost all feeling in the R side of my body and lost most of my senses. My medical bills had to come first to stop the progression, and in the process my husband lost his job. Thanks Todd for your words of wisdom. If I would have only been able to pay for my Qwest bill instead of the $500 in medicine needed to control my disability......- Caller: E R Solutions
- KStarted getting these on company phone a few days ago. Their recording didn't identify them. It paused and told me that by continuing to listen I was verifying my identity, then gave me time to clear the room so nobody else would be able to hear whatever embarrassing stuff they were to reveal.
I called them was put on hold, then told them that they were not legally entitled to call my place of business and that I would report them to the State Atty General's office if they continued. They found my home number and have started calling that. Refused to tell me what debt they were trying to collect, so thank you, respondents here, for telling me it's Qwest! - 30+1daysI got a call from ER Solutions 1 day after my QWest bill was 30 days old after cancelling service with them and going to our local cable company who I am paying only $4 more a month for TV, internet and phone than I was paying QWest for just internet and phone service. I had been a QWest customer for over 6 years and had every intention of paying my bill when I got paid again in 5 days. QWest did not contact me saying they would be turning me into a collection agency in 30 days and I had just talked to them regarding sending my DSL box back in with them not 5 minutes before ER Solutions called. I don't understand why the ER Solutions representative wanted to know where I worked, how long I worked there, was I married. I paid my bill, what are they are doing? The rep said its just standard information they ask everyone, what the heck?? What's any of that got to do with my paying my bill?? It was weird and I won't recommend QWest to anyone again. Talk about "Spirit of Service" where has that gone? Jerks and idiots in both companies.

- Qwest is AWEFULL replies to HaddEnoughNever EVER do business with them first off! This company called me and never left a message so i blocked them. They finally left a message and it was some foreigner! I am debating whether or not to actually return their call. Where do I find the laws about debt collectors in my state? Also does it apply to where i live or where they are calling from?
- LizaThis is a collections company representing Qwest. They also called us looking for a friend of ours who'd passed away. When I told them this, they said, "Thank you" and hung up. The lady on the other line did have a very depressing voice though.
- pearl 38OMG these people are THE BEST at harassment!!!!! i apparently have inherrited someone elses landline number...they keep calling ME leaving msgs for this OTHER person who apparently owes them money. i have called and called telling them that THIS IS NOW MY NUMBER and to STOP calling..to no avail...i finally got SMART and BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER so i can FINALLY have some PEACE....SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME IF GETTING CALLS FROM THESE JERKS...it will NEVER end if don't........................................................................................................................

- ihatebullies replies to Todd MonroeHey idiot. I paid my bill directly to quest. I would be an even bigger idiot to pay the same bill twice so shut up.
- Angel replies to mickmousesame here, they are saying I owe Qwest $389, when I terminated service I asked to make sure I was paying my entire bill which I payed $390 then and now(30 days later) they want another $389, not going to happen. I told them this was incorrect and i got an attitude from the lady stating yes you do. With that scratchy attitude voice. I asked her id she worked with Qwest and was involved with my disconnection. She said no I let her know she does not know all she knows is what is sent to her. Very Rude!!!!!
