This number has been calling for about a month.  I live in Canada, so thought it not likely that it was earthlink, so redialed the number.  Received an automated response from the Multiple Sclerosis Society telling me that they have been trying to reach me for their 2008 campaign and will call me back.
A number to block, as it appears to move around to different originators...

They asked to speak to my husband and I said he is not in.  But please remove our name from your list.  She said "No, I will call back again" and hung up in my ear.

This number has been calling me several times a day.  I know it is a toll free number and call display just shows that it's long distance.  I never answer it and they don't leave a message.  If this is a charitable organization looking for donations, for sure I would never donate to them as the frequency of the calls I consider abusive and very annoying!

I looked up & called 1-800-361-2985 Multiple Sclerosis Society   [  http://mssociety.ca ]
I refused to give my name [Telemarketer Co will sell that ] but I complained and told him to read all the complaints at https://whocallsme.com when he insisted they only call once. And Find a different fund raiser method.

-Let's just bombard them with complaint calls until they change their fund raising. Block your ID before call.

Also, I had already blocked this 877-333-6679 [  Multiple Sclerosis Society ] then they called again from 877-857-1144

ID just says out -of -area and they do not leave message

MS Society is calling multiple times daily for past 8 days or so, using different numbers,
sometimes identified

Phoned would not leave a message or name on display. I do not responed to such calls.

Received a call and picked up this time and it went directly to a dial tone. I called back and had to go through electronic prompts to get my number off their robocall list.(time will tell)  If his is MS Charity fundraising, then why does caller display show up as anonymous and they must have raised substantial funds to afford such elaborate electronic system with all the different phone lines?? I called 800-361-2985 and spoke to someone named 'Tanya' and she claims the are the MS Soceity and not a telemarketer firm. I explained the situation to her about their phone calling system,how it looks like some sort of a scam and if they are a valid charity they should correct this problem and not harm the good name of the charity by being posted on blogs implying something different.

I get at least 2 calls a day by the various #s: 8773336679, 4162330220, 4162338978, 8666556731, 8778783815, 8778571144, 8888065954. Enough? Thats just 3 days worth.
