I called this number but it seemed as if I was transferred to India or something and they were reading off a script. It would cost $1.98 to set up a portfolio online for media directors to then contact me within 90 days. I hung up before gathering anymore information. Sounds pretty scamy to me.

I called this number partly as a joke and gave it my 5 mnt rule. Meaning if I was put on hold longer than 5 mnts then I am gone.

This number is in the Pennysaver for movie and tv extras. I wouldn't trust it. Look...if you are looking to be in the entertainment industry, this is really not the way to do it. I have family and friends in the industry and they were connected by their educational experience and involvement working from the bottom and moving up.

It's legit.  I called and registered.
If you don't have any contacts to anyone from the entertainment industry, you have to start small.
The registration fee is $1.98.  I paid it and it was a legit transaction, just be careful that you listen carefully to the speaker and you read the instructions after you signed in.

So did you ever hear back from anyone? did they end up charging your card with additional charges?

Have you worked as an extra in any movie after you signed up?
Is the $1.98 monthly charges?
