Called it back. It's T-Mobile.

I have received four calls from this number in the last 10 days.  No message is left.  This is very annoying.

Seems to me as if they are very proud of their fake "T-Mobile" automated answering machine. So this is the trick:

The gimmick is that you are more suspect of someone calling you at random, and less likely to give them any personal information. But if you initiate and dial the call, and the business line answers with a "T-mobile" duplicated greeting, directing you to some "Customer Service Rep" you are more likely to believe you ARE speaking with tmobile, and MORE LIKELY to give out your personal information.

Then since anyone can post reviews on this board, they come to websites like 800notes and others and post fake reviews constantly claiming that it is T mobile to try and fool even more of us who actually take the time to google the number.

This is why they call, and hang up. This is why they call and leave no voice mail.  They want you to call and hear their fraudulent voice mail as some sort of FAKE ID.

SCAM.

I have been receiving calls from this number but i haven't answer the calls, and i tried  to call back, but not one picked the phone, so, i just continued in line and a stupid machine kept saying "t-mbile' and i got tired to heard the same thing and after 10 minutes i hang up, so i figured out that that phone number it was not from T-mobile. if you get a phone call from this people DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE they just want to waste your time.

Missed a call from this number today.

They call as T-Mobile reps and ask what they can do to help you.
When I tell them THEY CALLED ME they respond by saying they're checking if I'm happy with my plan. (?).  I've asked for names, no response; asked where they got my number, no response, what do they know about my current plan, no response....Told them they were frauds and they hung up.

Excellent explanation. Thank you! When I checked other websites for this number everyone was saying it's T-mobile. I don't believe for a second it was actually T-Mobile calling, as I am a customer and they never do things like that.

I have  no idea why they called my cell and hung up rather than replied when I answered.

I called 611 from my tmobile handset and this number does seem legit from what they told me. I would suggest doing the same. Call 611 on your tmobile phone and talk to them to make sure the number calling is legitamitely them.

Call received every day around the same time.  I haven't answered and they haven't left voicemail.  After reading these posts, I won't be answering!  Caller ID shows 877-335-9578.

Let's all make complaints to the Do Not Call Registry so that we can nip this in the bud...

I call tmobile they verified the number was a scammer posing as tmobile and flagged it. Also tmobile has a free service and they will enter your cell number in the do not call  registry. And assured me they dontvselll their numbers to telemarketers.

Missed several calls from this number and I accidentally answer one. Apparently nobody was on the other end. I usually dont respond to 800/877 numbers. If it is a legitimate company, they will leave a message.

Be careful it could be a SCAM!

i got this call this morning, i knew it it was a scam call. so i make fun of them. i give fake credit card number and bank name let them play it with it...

Okay so I got this call this morning - I am a new Tmobile customer - they did not leave a message and when I called them back they asked for my phone number etc. to verify me - I did not divulge anything however I did call TMobile customer care - the very helpful and polite young lady I spoke with told me that this is their marketing department that calls customers to see if there is any assistance they can offer or to go over the bill with new customers....its legit

877-335-9578 called me and did not answer or bother to speak into the phone.
I would like them not to call again.

Got a call from this number - I never answer tool free incoming calls on my cell phone - there was no message left. Upon googling the number, I came across this link.

I got a call from this number this morning, and it said Unknown on my caller ID. I answered, but they hung up. After reading the comments that said it was T-Mobile I called them directly at the number on their website (1-877-453-1304) and the customer service representative confirmed that they would not call from a blocked/Unknown number if it was from T-Mobile. Please do not call back the 877-335-9578 number and provide any personal information, it's spam.
