- ssnThis is a collection agency. DO NOT IGNORE THE CALLS! It will only make matters worse. They will work with you if you have a hardship case. I recommend it...it can tarnish your credit score if you don't deal with it. Ignoring it will not make it go away. If you are not aware of any delinquent accounts...call them back to get more information.
- Caller: NCO Financial Systems Inc.
- Call type: Debt collector
- CMPThese morons are collecting in a fashion contradictory to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. BEWARE! We have received more than 7 calls in a 24-hour period from these people on any one day. They call, hang up, call, hang up, all day long. They are collecting for Sam's Club. We have had a dispute on this account with Sam's for some time and refused to pay until they get it ironed out. So now they cik these morons on our case, and NCO follows illegal practices for collections. Don't mess with them, don't waste your time. Do what we are doing and file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office.
- Caller: NCO Financial/Sam's Club
- SteveThese morons do not leave a message. Except for ONE time - I got a call (on my cell vmail) and the person said "If you know what is good for you, you had better answer when we call you back next time..." but never said WHO they were or WHY they were calling.
They have called my cell daily - never leaving a message - and call me repeatedly at work, also never leaving a message. What [***]. - ConnieThese people call my prepaid cell phone constantly. I don't know who they are since when I see the number I assume it is a scam or a collection agency (and there is no reason for a collection agency to call me) so I just delete the calls without listening to them. I have had five calls today and it is a little past noon. I had six yesterday. It should be illegal for this to go on. It is unfair to harass innocent people because someone used to have your phone number or someone used your address as their permanent one even though they haven't lived there in over seven years.
- ConcernedThis number calls me probably every 15 minutes. I know I owe, but when I answer the phone they hang up. It is really getting old, and according to the FDCPA they can not call you in a harassing manner, and if you answer and tell them it is an inconvienent time they can not call until it is convenient for you. I work third shift and have a brand new baby, I am trying to talk to them but they seem to refuse to talk to me
- Caller: 800 Service
- MrZI get a call from this number between 5-10 times every day.
To my knowledge, I don't owe anybody anything. My credit report checks out as well, so I doubt it's ID theft.
I guess I'll file a complaint on the do not call website (www.donotcall.gov). Maybe it'll help, maybe it won't.
We as customers should demand more protection from our service providers - especially cellular. It is an outright lie that implementing a number blacklist feature in cell phones is anything more than trivial and I don't know whom I should be more angry at - this company (for calling me) or Verizon (for treating me like absolutely nothing more than a source of revenue). - Chris AI also get repeated calls from this and other numbers without any messages ever being left.
- ShanayThey have called me aloooot. But the thing is..I dont owe ne thing. I paid all my bills back in January to collection agencies.
- easternDO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS!!!! IF THEY ARE AS UNEFFECTIVE AND RUDE AS THEY ARE THEN THEY WILL NO LONGER BE HIRED BY COMPANYS TO DO COLLECTING AND CAN ALL LOOK FOR NEW JOBS.
These morons are collecting in a fashion contradictory to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act of Sept 1997. BEWARE! We have received more than 7 calls in a 24-hour period from these people on any one day. They call, hang up, call, hang up, all day long. NCO follows illegal practices for collections. Don't mess with them, don't waste your time. Do what we are doing and file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office.- Caller: NCO Collections
- scuzneckMany phone calls...Many different numbers...Make me want to never repay these idiots
- Caller: NCO
- UtahconThe phone calls are from GE Money Bank, the holding company for Ikea.
You will automatically be put on hold, some companies have no tact.
They were really quite pleasant. Agreed to take a post-dated check to get my account current, and then leave me alone (until of course I owe them again).- Caller: GE Money Bank (IKEA)
- anony-mouseHERE'S A TIP: For annoying frequent calls (ie debt collectors) to your cell phone you could save the numbers that call and assign them a unique ringer ID to ring as 'Silent'. So you'll get the call but it won't ring your phone and bother you. Then instead of getting annoyed or frustrated you can just laugh. Sure it seems they call from a million numbers but after a week or two you'll have them all saved and silenced. (ps. I ran into an old Nokia phone with no Silent setting so possibly you could just create your own ringtone with just of couple "pauses".)
- Caller: NCO?
- minnieanswer it and ask them to hold. put the phone down and they will eventally hang up. just keep doing it. also, change your phone numbers on your accounts to the numbers they are calling you from. let them call themselves for a while.
- iAMa COLLECTORyes, it is collections,, and dont listen to that moron that suggests you ignore the calls, if you know you have delinquent account, then face it, they might as well help you. you can even ask for some of concessions like late fee removal, or free transaction fee over the phone., on the other hand, if you believe that you dont owe anybody, it'll take just 2 minutes of your time to explain that they might have called the wrong person... all of those will work unless you are one of those idiotic and shameless people who cant pay their bills and yet they have the guts to be rude... bottomline, pay or make arrangements on your debt!!!!!!!!!!!! im a collector and i know how it goes,, yall shouldnt be hard-headed..
- Caller: NCO GE. MONEY
- Johnathan FudpuckerYou're a collector and you say don't ignore the calls? YOU are the idiot for thinking we should answer calls just to pay your paycheck. IF you owe someone NEVER EVER EVEN TALK TO A COLLECTION AGENCY - NEVER FOR ANY REASON! Pay the person that the debt is with never ever pay a collection agency. Also - never talk to a collection agency, never write a collection agency. The moment you do they have a point at which they will testify you legitimized this ficticious dept. Pay the person or company you owe never a collection agency. Do not talk to collection agencies.
- Caller: NCO FINANCIAL SYSTEMS
- ladyI have answered to NCO. They were going to "help" me with a credit card bill. I now pay them, and the credit card company. They say by working out a payment plan you won't have late fees etc but you DO!! If you are not paying the full minimum payment you still get late fees regardless of NCO.
- dont bother me[***] NCO. Matters don't get worst. Your credit is already tranish. They don't work with you.
[***] them and feed them beans..- Caller: none
- The laughguyThese [***] from NCO call and call and call.
I sent them a letter last time, and it stopped. Now I am having fun, I have 10 different internet dialers calling them sporadically throughout the day and hanging up!
Waste their time, call on the hundred plus numbers they have, several thousand minutes a day or their wasted time. Drive their costs up!- Caller: NCO
- PlayboyDitto on the calls. They call and I always answer, make a sound so their autodialer system picks it up and send it to an operator and then hang up.
Your credit is already wrecked, so who cares what they say.
Waste as much of their time as possible. If everyone did it, it would drive their costs up!!- Caller: NCO
- FunbagsI answer their calls when I want entertainment.
Laugh at them.
What can they do? Sue me? Ha ha ha.- Caller: NCO
