Called me someone I can not stand used my name has a refrence and I have not talked with the person I told the person that we'll yelled at the collector

I get this number daily. Claim their a debt collector. Getting tired of them calling me.

Man with polite, professional voice, excellent diction,  notified me this call was being recorded then asked if I knew several people (unusual names I never heard). I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and he responded he would remove my name from the call list. ???

I just got the same call, I  real unusual name i never heard of they were asking for?

Asked where he was calling from as the company sounded unfamiliar.  He then told me I could not be taken off the "do not call" list which is untrue, and proceeded to advise me of MY telephone number. Told him he would be blocked.
He spoke a nice game, though. I am sure that people have believed his lines before, sadly.

Exactly the same thing here. I've only had this number for 6 weeks.

Did not answer the phone, as I've learned not to if I don't know the number....but I Googled it & saw these comments....interestingly - I got a call from First Source Advantage (they left a message) from a different number - 1-888-580-7675....I could not understand who they wanted, so I did call back..they had my number listed as a contact for someone else?? They said they'd remove my number.

I got a call from this number too! Said he was on behalf of capital one. I don't have capital one! Didn't leave a name, Said to give him a call.

This number called my neighbor asking for me!!!!  How and why are they calling my neighbor asking for me????  How did they get her number????  How did they know we are neighbors.  This is totally an invasion of privacy and I am ticked!!!!
