they call 2-3 times a day, but when we answer the phone they hang up. i have called directv about this 4 times and there is no record of me ever calling with a complaint. i threatened to file harrasment against them and i was told that they put this as a priority situation and someone will call me back about this problem.

We had DirectTV about 2 years ago and when a hurricane ran through our area it disrupted the dish so we canceled the service and we switched to 2 channel antenna TV with Netflix. To this day we are harassed with calls from DirectTV (called ID does not identify them but I looked up the number and now refuse to answer), at least once a day, every day.  We put in Dish Network with DVR (which DirectTV never offered)  How do I make them stop calling?

They call and do not leave a message.  If there is a reason for their call they should leave a message.  I'm sick of being bothered.

They call continuously. At least once a day and never leave a message. Sick of it, also!

I called the number back and told them to stop with promotional calls because I was happy with the service I already subscribe to.  They said I was taken off the call list ... we'll see.

I get this call at least twice every day.  I don't answer.  They don't leave a message. They just keep calling.

I am on the do not call list, and have been for several years.  Just renewed again.  I am tired of three and four calls a day, even on the weekends.

Once again...I got this call.  Rather than them hanging up on my answering machine AGAIN, I answered it. Directv AGAIN! As soon as I told him I was not interested and take me off the marketing list AGAIN he just hung up on me AGAIN. I am sick of this!!

We recently got Directv and these people will drive you nuts calling.  I don't bother answering the phone anymore when Caller ID shows unknown number.  If they really need to talk to me they can leave a message on answering machine.

I get this call once or twice a day.   Many times when others in the house are asleep.   I am on the do-not-call list.  What do they not understand about this request?

Call all the time. I sent an email and asked to be removed from their call list. Apparently it didn't work. They still call. Want them to stop, but national do not call list says if you do buisness with them they have the right to call you. Not fair. It's harrassment!

They call every day and night and do not leave a message. We are on the Do Not Call List - We feel harrassed by these calls.

Just as everybody else. Continuous calls, then hang up whether I answer or machine answers. I just cancelled Direct TV 2 weeks ago, and we have gotten called from this number almos daily since. Thank goodness I have cable coming soon, and can cancel their POS satellite internet too (Hughes).

Same as everyone above.  We canceled Direct TV last fall and are still harassed day and night by this number.  I work nights and am often awakened by this number.

After a 4 month reprieve... they started calling again.  Answered the third call yesterday.  Told them I was very happy with FIOS, and if they called back AGAIN, I would seek legal representation.  "glen"  abruptly hung up on me.

3 days in a row now, we get a call from this number and no one is there. The really bad thing is, we already subscribe to Direct TV!!!

I receive calls the same calls sometimes 3x a day -- they never leave a message and the caller ID shows Unknown Name and number.  I am on the do not call list but I guess they can get away with calling people early in the morning and late at night.

Keep getting calls from that number,several times a day, and all they do is hang up when I answer the phone.  For the price I pay every month for DirecTV I expect much better than a truck load of reruns and annoying phone calls!

Not only do I get calls from this number that says unknown but several calls a day that actually do show up DirectTV.  I never answer any of them but like some of the others on here we are already a customer, why are they calling???? I think it is ridiculous.

Call DirecTV at 800-531-5000 and tell them to take your phone number OFF their promotional calls list.  While you're at it, tell them to take your name and address off their promotional mailing list.

Ask the DirecTV employee for their employee number.  They're required to give it to you.  This lets them know you're serious.
