calls back to back, and unsure as to why? I don't owe anyone anything, and I'm not too quick to answer toll free/unknown numbers.

I actually called these idiots back today after work.

I've dealt with a lot of debt collection agencies in the past "no pitty party needed" ;), however you can tell they are legitimate since they give you their mini-Miranda speech, and able to verify you to the T, and send a very detailed debt validation to any address you want. But on to the call. I went ahead and transcribed it since I'm not sure how to record calls on my iPhone lol.

FMR: Hi this is Stacey Laurence with FMR how may I help you today.

Me: Yeah you guys called me what do you want?

FMR: Well we are trying to locate a "Incorrect name here" (Even though the voicemail they stated my name)

Me: Interesting, well the voicemail you left on this number is "My Name"

FMR: "Nervously" hmm let me take a look (she was typing frantically before she came back to the phone) AH yes here you are. Yes we are showing the last four of your social as #### and an email address as I@neverused.com and you had taken a payday loan out some time ago that you most likely don't remember since it was a few years ago. You currently have a claim against your name and this debt needs to be paid before we proceed with legal proceedings.

Me: So you decide to assume you're speaking with "My Name" without trying to verify me? How can i believe who you are?

FMR: Yes this is Stacey Laurence from FMR we are located at 1902 Ridge Rd #115, West Seneca, NY 14224, and our number is 877-379-0251 and you are "My Name" since you called back on the line we left the voicemail on. There isn't anything to verify.

Me: So this debt you speak of, how much is it?

FMR: The debt was sent to us last year in March, but the original debt was opened "nervously states" about 6 months to 8 years prior. The outstanding debt with interest owed is $4095.12 but we are willing to settle for $87.47 how would you like to pay for this today? Credit / Debit / Checking Account?

Me: WOW really? ONLY 87.47? First I'm going to ask you guys to validate this debt, my PO box is .... (got cut off)

FMR: We can send you an email, what is your current email address.

Me: By law you are supposed to send this via USPS i'll wait, as soon as i receive it i'll send the amount. And why are you asking for my email if you supposedly have it.

FMR: This settlement amount is only good for this phone call, so we can send it via email.

Me: Well hopefully when i receive the debt validation in the mail you'll be able settle for less then.

FMR: Sir, we are not playing games. This debt needs to be settle before we proceed with legal.

Me: Where do i send the payment then? The address you stated? The address you provided me shows an empty lot in NY is this where you work? Do you bring your laptop there every morning and dial to an auto dialer to get to unsuspecting victims of your fallacies?

FMR: Sir this is a valid debt! Pay up or we will sue you! This is a one time amount we will settle for, we can and will call and humiliate you to your friends and family.

Me: Well in that case, I will send the payment via USPS what is the address, and please do not threaten me, I would need to have feelings to care about what you say so let's keep those to yourself for other people.

FMR: Sir we only take Debit / Credit / Checking Account, we don't make threats we move forward with these proceedings if payment isn't made.

Me: Well i only have cash, what can we do then?

FMR: Okay fine please send the payment to PO Box 2474 Blasdell, NY 14219, make the payment to Forward Movement Recovery. ATTN: Stacey Laurence

Me: Will this be deleted from my credit report?

FMR: Yes sir we will remove it.

Me: Thank you, i'll send out the payment today.

    FMR: Thank you, hung up.

So what i'll be doing is sending a fake money order to this PO box. Stating I've sent a fake money order for the FAKE debt you are trying to collect on with a copy of all the complaints i'm going to file on these idiots. Most of these complaints will fall on deaf ears like everything else, however if there is enough complaints or enough evidence of fake debt collection I think we can get these idiots taken down.

1 in many people have an obsessive personality and this has now turned into a puzzle for me, and I LOVE PUZZLES, and i thrive on unknown like the dark matter. I will figure these idiots out and bring them down. I will hopefully be keeping everyone posted on this.

PEOPLE do not fall for their crap! These guys are 100% fake! They are unable to verify any and all information about you! But their BBB complaints state they are registered with the secretary of state. Interesting to know.

People like this pull and buy information from sites like USSearch, and use tactics such as skip tracing! Educate yourself on the terms! If you don't care then get scammed. The only verifiable information they can get about you is enough to claim a false debt, such as the last 4 of your social, your email, and phone numbers. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Only way to make a viable complaint is to speak to them, keep them on the phone long enough to get them to threaten or make ludicrous statements.

Yea, my sister got a call from these guys looking for me. I knew it was bogus or something from possibly decades ago which are no longer even on my credit report. I keep a close eye on my credit and all I have on there to this day is closed good credit accounts and a couple of new credit I recently got. Not one negative thing on my credit. And after reading this it seems like it's just some kind of scam. Best thing to do is never call these people or answer their phone calls. They can do nothing. Well, except bother the crap out of you. Sad days in America.

They called and left me a voicemail saying it was very important I call them back as it was in regards to a payday loan from several years ago. Funny thing is, I've never ever taken out a payday loan, the only thing on my credit report is due to medical bills, AND they used my maiden name (which isn't on any of the current debts - all medical - that I currently owe). They even called my Mom saying the same thing to her and asking for information regarding me, again using my maiden name.

I received a call from these people stating that I need to call back or their tracing efforts will resume.  Go ahead I say because I know what's on my credit report and I know what I've done in the past ten years as far as loans, idiots!
