I received two text messages that read as follows: "Free Text Msg: This is an important message from Charter regarding your account.  Please call 1-877-384-8907 for more information. To end Alerts, reply STOP."
I don't have Charter.

Very suspicious, now i am wondering if someone has my information. Or did i give too much info to the rep JOSH

Same here. Got a text saying:This is an important message from Charter regarding your account. Please call 1-877-384-8907 for more information. To end alerts,reply STOP. Now,I DO have Charter,but this number is never on any of their listings. Also,I have never gotten a text from them before,regarding my account,and I have never signed up to start receiving texts from them. I have checked every bill and also online. Saw this was flagged as a telemarketer and have now blocked the number!! Thanx!!!

I don't have Charter.  Bogus....scam number. DO NOT CALL BACK  Charter's actual customer service number is 1 (888) 438-2427 which I did call and told them that people all over the country are getting scam text messages from this number.

I wouldn't worry so much about your personal information they just know charters service area. Charter is the only option available where I live.

I get the same thing but "spectrum". never had charter or spectrum in my life.  I get calls and texts all days long.  Been happening for 2 mo now.

I keep receiving texts from this number claiming to be Spectrum regarding my account. My account is not delinquent. Very suspicious. Not responding to it in any form.

I have Spectrum and just paid my bill, I keep receiving these messages too.

i recieved a text from this number saying i had payments due for spectrum. they sent me a link telling me to click it. i don’t have spectrum
