I have received a first call from this, but I receive marketting calls a lot.  

It left a voice message that sounds horrible, "Hi! This is an imp- this is an imp- this is an important call- this is an imp- Please call us back at One-Eight-This is an imp- this is an imp"..

for 3 minutes non-stop. First time I've heard something this bad.

This appears to be from a company calling itself Metropolitian.

I keep getting this message "an urgent message for ............... please return the call immediately.  It is important."  The person they are asking for is not at this number, nor is there a person by this name living in this small community to the best of my knowledge.   They did mention "Metropolitan" at one point, but cannot connect the dots.  They are coming almost daily and most irritating.

are you still getting these calls?  They have been going on here for months and are most irritating.

This is a collection agency call to whomever they are after.................

The garbled points in the message are where they are inserting your name.

It's a company called Net Credit.  I had a pass due bill and paid it.  Got rid of these people Quicktime.

I think this is a scam! We do not owe anything and they tried everything!
They tried really hard to solicit my husbands name, birthday and address from him! Could be identity theft!
This 1-877-388-1050 number is not automated and goes directly to a person, they say they are Metropolitan Credit Adjusters.

I too get these phone calls on a daily basis & the same time. At the beginning it was twice daily. One in the 8:45 AM and the other in the afternoon. They did say they were from Metropolitan Credit Services (Met Credit) in behalf of Rogers Cable. I do not a Rogers Account. They have another telephone number too (locally), then they leave a message to call this 877 #.

They are as pain in the ASS.
Call anytime.
Say they are Met Credit calling on behalf of Rogers.

I get this calls also every day. Some times twice a day. A machine leaving their number. Saying it is Rogers. No I do not deal with Rogers. I called them back and you get someone where their English is so bad. I hung up. Now when they call I do just that pick up and then hang up

They tried to get me to cnfirm personal info when I returned their call and refused to provide any info on why they were calling tho threatened me - highly abusive.

I started receiving marketing phone calls in the form of a Chinese automated voice message and I always blocked them, however, right about that time I began receiving calls from this number leaving an automated message and claiming to be from a company called Met Credit. I called them 2 or 3 times back on different occasions but couldn't get to speak to a real person. I blocked the number and now I see their blocked number in my call logs around 6 times a week. It is almost impossible to get rid of the Chinese scam calls because it seems that they are both related. Met Credit probably tests to see if you answer your phone because they know they've been blocked. I noticed that the calls are usually synchronized between the standard Met Credit number and those Chinese scam calls. It is sad how these people can get away with such behavior.
