We got another call from this phone number (877-389-6582). I've searched it a few different times, and it seems to come up that it belongs to Directv's telemarketing department.

These DirectTV telemarketers are relentless.  I wish I had never done business with the company...

I get called from this number 2 - 3 times per day, even after I've left messages not to call. I am also on do not call list. I'm frustrated with them, I can't get them to stop! Some say it's Direct TV telemarketers, but I'm not sure.

Company keeps calling us. Stop the phone calls!!! If I want service again I will ask for it!

I get at least one call every night about 7 PM or later.... I would love to ring this person toe nails. What a pain.  What ever your doing you have to stop and ans. and nobody there. grrrrrrr.

Yep, same thing. Dropped DirecTV, now I'm getting calls from this number. Only serves to confirm my decision-- so every time you get a call from it, embrace it as confirmation that you did the right thing in dropping their service. :)

I complained to Directv last week on their website. They promised not to continue to call on my BUSINESS LINE!!!!!

Would love to call the CEO of Directv constantly on every telephone he has.

I believe that it is DIRECTV. These calls were generated a couple different ways, as most telemarketing calls are. If you are or were a customer. If you are a current customer then most likely they are calling you to offer you something free i.e. NFL Sunday ticket, as they did me. If you were a previous customer then they are allowed to call you, Until you ask them to stop, it may take time for it to work through their system but they will stop.
It is DIRECTV's policy never to cold call Telemarket, nor do they allow their independant dealers.
I am speaking as an ex DIRECTV dealer and I use to ALWAYS get complaints from current customers that DIRECTV never called them to offer them free stuff, or why are all the promos just for NEW customers? Well, I can tell you that they are NOT, but IF you ask DIRECTV to NOT call you then you will not get the FREE stuff that they want to give you.
So, TAKE IT EZ! It's probably your fault anyway.

Also, FYI: Most companies KNOW that nearly everyone screens the calls, That is why they don't leave a message. Because most people will call the number back. When you do, you will hear a recording saying Thank you for returning the call, they also log the fact that you DID call back and that will generate another call. The answer my friend is blowing in the wind...lol It's simple, just don't return the calls, Its the same as clicking "unsubscribe" on an unwanted email; EVERYONE know that just increases junk mail. It's best to leave it unanswered.

Do what I do... save these numbers with names like Crap, S*#t, A*#holes etc. When they call their "name" comes up so I know to ignore them!

Haven't had my Google Voice number for even 24 hours and have already gotten 2 spam calls. Geez!

DirectTV is a big business that operates like some shady backroom brothel.

It's DIRECTV, I dropped them a year ago, due to price increases and lousy service, now because they have my damn number they are always calling trying to get me to come back, they are rude, ruthless morons!

Please ask them to place me on their do not call LIST. The calls come in to my cell phone weekly.

They call sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. I already filed a complaint BBB. and still get calls.

I made the right decision in dropping Direct TV. Care more about me now that I fired them. Maybe AT & T can improve it, but don't hold your breath. If they really want to talk to me, then leave a message. They much prefer to call and not leave a message....cowardly maybe.
