Also recieved call. wondering who it is!

I got a call today and on the phone display it said "The Campaign of"
I can't read the rest of the line.

I have been recieving them as well,3-4x daily. I was finally home to answer.....They are calling from "The Campaign of Special Olympics"

I have seen the display and have not answered it, as I see "The Campaign of...." and believe they are looking either for votes or money.  I wish they would stop calling, as it is harrassing.

These bozos called me today, a Sunday, at 12:34.  I am on the national do not call list and have now forwarded my second complaint about them.  They represent alleged charities running old time hockey games etc. These charities are not on the CRA list of legitimate operations. Complain!

received call from 1 877 389 9712 advising it was "downed officers and retired officers memorial" .

I questioned them regarding where the memorial was; location of office; and outside return phone number at which time I was hung up on as they realized I was not being scammed.  There is no memorial named "downed officer memorial" .

They were evasive and thrown off when questioned and not a legitimate fund.

Got a call in Collingwood from this number. Claimed to be for Emergency Services Teddy Bear Program. This concept has been around for some time now in various municipalities (see the web) legitimately. However, when I asked how did I know if they were a legitimate campaign. They also referenced the "Officer Down Program". When I asked if they had a web site to check their identity, they informed me that they did not, unfortunately. They would send out paperwork after my donation. But I advised that was too late for me. The attitude changed when  I informed them I did not donate over the phone into a condesending tone. They then hung up on me.

When you answer the phone and say Hello no one answers you.  when you call back this number, it rings for awhile and they you get an answering machine mentioned this is a Campaign for special olympics they they mentioned about tickets for hockey in hamilton on such a date.  This is very frustrating as they disturb you and doesn't say anything no matter how many times you say hello.  Hope they stop

they keep on calling and then you answer the say your name and then you loose the line i wish this would stop

That happened to me as well.

How are they getting my number it,s unlisted.

This number called and asked for my husband, I said he was not available, the guy just hung up. Tried to phone back, it just kept ringing.  I am on the do not call list.

This number shows up 2 or 3 times a week. i do not answer as I don't recognize it. I am on a do not call list!!!

Tell those [***] i have tracked them down and going to burn every one of them.

I received a phone call from that particular number and I have an answering machine which I screen calls (after 2 rings)... This particular number just hangs up....

I called back the number and the guy says "if you leave a detailed MESSAGE"... I was really gave it
to them on the answering machine about why the hell do you want MY MESSAGE and you guys just hang up!

I called back and stated... you guys surely have call display so I told them off to take my damn phone number
off their no call list..

I made sure I was LOUD and CLEAR that whoever read the message have his/her ears bleed!

These low lifes has called AGAIN with no message...
you call them and they request that we leave a message to them...

I certainly left a message on their machine..

Again.. I hope their ears are bleeding!

I keep getting repeat calls from this number very annoying

I really appreciate having all my calls now go to voice-mail.  This number calls frequently but never leaves a message.  So, no problem for me, except clearing out their five call records per week.  Obviously no thinking person would keep calling the same number after so many non-responses.  It is obviously some auto-dialer run by an idiot.
