Woman called. Got ugly with person who answered the phone when she realized he wasn't the person she was hunting. Claimed to be with CRA but wouldn't leave any messaged, just this number to call back.

CRA is a collection agency that buys your OLD OLD OLD debt. Credit Recovery Associates.... If it's over 7 years, just don't talk to them and they can't make it come back to you as current debt.  If you talk to them about it, that can start the process all over again.  Deny it and ignore future calls.

Left message that I or my representative had to call 877 number, but called me from 757-986-1176.

They called and wanted to speak to my husband or his representative according to the voicemail.  Funny thing the number they called from was 864-569-0178 Bowling, D. The callback number was 877-394-0395 so I guess they think if it's not a toll number people would answer, but I don't answer for anyone I don't know....that's what voicemail is for.  It's probably a company that already received bailout money to pay whatever debt was owed them - but they are still collecting.

Got a call Tuesday, March 13th, 2011 from 864-569-0178, from a Carlie Lang looking for a woman about a specific account.  She needed her or her agent to contact them back at 877-394-0395 ASAP due to the urgency of the matter concerning the account.  Reportedly she was from CRA.  Wrong number I have had my number for over 10 years now.

Got a call fro CRA misidentifying me as Michael Arbuckle and that my account was in trouble left on my voicemail. When I returned the call from voicemail it said the number was "not in service". When I called back the number 877-394-0395 I was put on hold by the automated answering system.

Voicemail message to my cell number, which I've had for several years, to 'Barbara Elkin'.  'Adriana' of CRA says it's imperative that this Ms. Elkin or her representative contact them today.  Started to phone back, glad I checked here first.  Not going to waste my minutes on some random collection agent's cold call-

they just left me a message as well, same parameters as everyone elses.  the female caller was very affimative and very authorative.  almost made me want to call (ha ha) glad I saw these posts.  thanks.

Gosh darn it, me too! I keep getting these calls for a Jacob Akinson, but I've had this phone number for over 9 years and there's never ever been a Jacob Akinson here! So sick of people harrassing me for some dude I've never ever known!

This person called me and left a message saying that they needed to talk to me or my respentative about an urgent matter. Her name was Mellissa C. I have no idea who this is an they need to stop calling.

They are very rude people. I had to hang up. They won't say who they are.

Someone from 757-336-8065 calls a couple of times a day and says it is urgent.  When you call back they place you on hold.  Pat says that it is urgent but can't say what it is for.  Really an ugly collections company.

I wish I checked here before I called, I will call FBI if they call again!!!!

I received a call this morning from "Adrianna". She left the same type of message others have received. I'm glad I saw all of these posts. I don't have time to play with these jokers so I just finished filing a complaint with the FTC.

I get calls about once daily from these jerks!!  I DO owe $$, but I keep telling whoever calls I am in a Debt Relief program, & will pay the $ when MY ATTORNEY tells me to, NOT before!!  Get calls from 864-502-1011, that leaves a msg to call the 877 #. But if I don't pick the phone up & it kicks to my V/M, I ain't gonna call back from my phone!!!  Just let them  keep on calling, until the day comes when my attorney hauls them to court for harassment!!!

My elderly mother received a call from "Pat" at CRA with a very important message for me.  That something very important was happening in my town and I need to be informed... Glad I looked it up before responding.  Caused my mother stress though... shame on this company for preying on the elderly!

Lady left me a message and said she had contacted my work and she was independent locator. She wanted to serve papers to me.

they are still a Debt Collector===> pests
