who are these ppl that keep harrassing me. Tell me that I have been served for court?????

This phone# 877-407-7573 called leaving a message for someone who has never lived here. Stating a pending court case and appearance scheduled to 2/1/12 for the person in question needed to be in court.It was allegedly filed under Claim#112904. When I called the number I was put on hold twice. At the point I was about to hang up { I give such calls a 3 min.limit as to me holding}. Twice I was asked "May I help you". They claimed that they would drop my phone# after I told them the person in question has NEVER lived @ this address.

Have you heard anything about getting served for court? I have had the exact same calls!!!

Has anyone answered these morons!?? Sounds like typical idiot collection companies who try to make money off of OLD PAID debts.

Yes, they are trying to make money off of old debts that have already been settled!  They try to intimidate and scare people into giving them money that is NOT due to them. Do not give them any personal information, just IGNORE them!  Do not be scammed!!!

They called me the other day and told me I would be served at work or home today if I didn't call the number back. I did call and they said it was about a debt that I opened on August 31, 2005. They wanted to settle it and gave me 3 options and I was supposed to call back by end of business with the option I would choose. Well after I thought about it, I never opened the debt on that day (believe me, I know it wasn't that day because I wasn't living where they said I was at the time). I have not called them back. They called yesterday to remind me that I would be served today. I think they called again today but I didn't answer. So far, nothing, but I guess the day is still young. I do think it's just a scare tactic and that nobody will be serving me. I have never heard of them calling to warn you that you will be served.

It's almost 7pm and nobody has served me.
