This guy calls me and asks me to identify myself at my work he does not identify himself. I told him not to call me again

The person called and my husband tried to speak with them.  They refused to give him any info.  He tried to give them the info for our bankruptcy lawyer and they said they weren't a credit card company.

He handed me the phone and they asked who I was.  I said they need to tell me who is calling first.  They refused to tell me who was calling so I hung up on them.

Do not know who is calling, they say it is an attempt to collect a debt.

NBROI - This is a collection agency for medical bills

Its a phishing scam, don't give them any information.  They ask for your name, date of birth, and social security number.   Don't respond, just hangup and delete the call.

It's a collection agency .... in my case for a past due hospital bill

Guy called me from this same number. Said he had to verify my mailing address for a personal matter. I told him I needed him to verify who he was and why he was calling. All he said was, he could mail me a letter like they did before but there was no forwarding address on file. I have not moved, so I told him to go ahead and mail a letter to the address on file and he hung up.

It's definitely a collection agency, or someone trying to sound suspiciously like one.  Asked the company name, and they just say "MBLI".  Asked what that stands for, they say it doesn't stand for anything, which sounds even more suspicious.  Have tried to find them on the Web, but without any luck.  Best thing to do is put their number on your cell phone's reject list.

A guy calls me asking to speak with my husband about a "confidential business transaction" involving my daughter. Refuses to identify himself. Had a creepy/sketchy vibe. I told him never to call again. If it is a collection agency, they have made a mistake.

No caller ID, calls several times a day, leaves minimal msg, does not respond when number is re dialed

Just got the call & patched it through to voicemail.  "Spencer" from the alleged debt collection agency MBLI left a very long "private" message where he used my full name 4 times.  He instructed me to call back at the 877-435-4009 number ext 5238 to discuss "a private business matter." Jeez guy make up your mind, are you a debt collector or a hedge fund manager?  I immediately googled the phone number & found this thread.  Looks like it is time to re-up my digits on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Got a call this am stating they were attempting to collect a debt. The only debt I have is medical debts. It was a recording, I did not bother calling the number back, I do believe it is a hired gun for the hospital.  

Got a call from them last year saying I had an overdue medical bill which I replied my health insurance paid for it and they said there was a leftover balance of $300. Didn't specify why my insurance didn't pay the full amount just that I had to pay the remaining balance...they called again today a year later claiming I now owe $800..inconsistent amounts and they always ask for my name and DOB definitely a scam!

I got a call from this number. It doesn't tell who they are when I called back so I hung up and I blocked the call from my phone

MBROI is a medical collections outfit.

On Comcast dial *60 and  add ro blocked call list.

Calls but always never leaves message try to scare me definately harassment....second time this number called....

This people send me a letter and a number to call.  I called the number and they say that hey are a collection agency a requested my information which I gave to them.  I should have suspected something was wrong when they indicated that they did not know I had insurance and Medicare.  They called again later to say that my information was incorrect and that I should pay the bill...I told them I would not pay it..  My insurance paid that bill already...

constant harassment from this number--I am going to report them
