anyone recieve a message from this number saying "this is not a sales or marketing call this is inregards to your credit"?

Credit Watch Services? Message said it was not a sales or marketing call but an important business matter. Never heard of them. Not calling back!

These people have been calling my number, but do not identify themselves, or state the purpose of their call.  I believe it is someone trying to use a fishing scam for fraud purposes?

They are calling me to. Scam? I am not calling them back

it said to reference the number that they called when I was to call back.  probably a bill collector or scam.  why call back if they dont id themselves?  you just dont. kind of like when someone calls you and asks who you are but they dont want to id themselves. just dont do it.

Collections company based in Texas who use a call-bot to spam your message box for someone they are looking for.
It does not matter to them that they have a wrong number so you have to sort it out for them or change your number.

Here in Canada it cost $0.25 per minute on a pay as you go phone to check your messages, multiply that by 10 per week and you are paying $10 per month to hear a message for someone else who probably owes them $50 or less... it would be cheaper for me to pay their bill.

Guys if you are reading about yourselves, why the F... are you calling a Canadian number?

There is a reason why these companies use the phone... It's hard to sue with no paper trail!

robot claiming to be "credit watch" from the city of Albuquerque wanting to speak to me about "a potential civil citation filed in my name". Googled the number to see if its affiliated with the city but found nothing credible. Not calling back.

They asked me to make a direct deposit into the bank for a traffic ticket that was caugh on film for running a red light.  However I was never in the state they referenced and I don't own the vehical they said I was spotted in.  ...............SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I got the same message, they said it was from unpaid red-light/speeding citations. I asked them for the original unpaid citations for proof. they said it would be mailed to my house

Got a call from Credit Watch Services for a Civil Citation for the city of Albuquerque. Called 311 and asked about the call and they said the city would never call from a 800 number. I called the number and told them that; they laughed and said the city was going to be on the news saying they would be calling people. Then he told me it was for three unpaid traffic citations. I told him I didn't think so, I hadn't received a ticket in over a decade. He interrupted me mid-sentence to say ok and hung up.

this number called me and told me I have outstanding tickets from the city of Albuquerque, according to them I had tickets in 2009 and 2010, When I asked the lady if she was nut's she said ok hold on after 2 min I hung up, I'm waiting for them to call back, I know for a fact Albuquerque has more people with  the same name as I do, they did not ask for more than my name, I guess they were shocked that I disputed the proposed tickets, and since I recently renewed my license I feel confident !

These guys have taken over for Merchant Service Bureau, trying to collect on Red Flex tickets in Albuquerque. These guys done have a leg to stand on, got to debtorboards.com to learn what to do. I will be going after their calls to my cell phone

same thing just happened to me (i live in alb) a couple of weeks ago i got a call from someone claiming to be with the judicial court in albuquerque, turned out to be a collector spoofing their number and actually lying to me saying a judgement had been made against me and trying to get me to pay it right then and there over the phone. was a paydat loan company i had never heard of cashnet or something.

We got a call too.  They said they were calling about a pending civil citation. Isn't it illegal to use these tactics?

Just called back and asked who I was speaking to. His name was Max who said e did not have tome to wait for me to ask questions. He promptly hung up aftewhen I asked just how legitimate this call/company was. Hahahahaha sorry fellas we're not all as dumb as you think.

They are calling claiming to be "on behalf of the city of Albuquerque" regarding an unpaid citation, and threaten "this is your last chance before it will be escalated to legal action". Called the city of ABQ, and the stated they are not and have not, and never would use this type of service, and definitely not from an 877 number. They directed me to the NM Attorney General's Office to file a complaint. I called the AG and they stated they have gotten several complaints just this week, and it IS a scam. Most likely Redflex who did the no longer used red light cameras, sold information to Credit Watch. Do not answer if they call, per the AG, and do NOT pay the money they demand. It is not for the City of ABQ.

I've received a series of recorded robo-msgs from this number over the past few months...usually about one per week.  They started off saying they were Credit Watch Services calling on behalf of the City of Albuquerque with an important message for "Michael Jackson".  First clue this was a scam is that my name does NOT even remotely resemble "Michael Jackson", and the only person I know with that name was the deceased prince of pop. LOL! This week, the msg changed...they are still calling claiming to be "on behalf of the city of Albuquerque", and still calling for "Michael Jackson", but now say it's regarding an unpaid citation, and threaten "this is your last chance before it will be escalated to legal action" (exactly what a previous poster said). SO annoying! I guess I'll report it to the FCC like someone else recommended.

Received a message on my home phone from 877-444-3343 reporting that they were calling on behalf of the City of Albuquerque. Stated that I had a "civil citation" and to call them back. Googled the number and read the reports from people receiving similar messages. Called the number back out of curiosity but did not say who I was. The person answering just gave his name. I asked what company he was calling from and he said it was a credit service working for the City of Albuquerque. I told him I would call the city and call back if necessary. He said "ok".  

I didn't contact the city because I had previously submitted for my own background check from the police department for a project that I am working on. I have no citations on my police report. I already knew this when I called the 877 number back but was curious to see what the person on the other end of the line sounded like. He was curteous and only gave the "name" of the company he was working for when questioned. There was even background noise as if he worked for a city call center. I agree SCAM. Do not give anyone calling from this number any information. Call the City instead. The City sends out its own documentation to you personally. The documentation should always have the City information on its letterhead.
