Same thing - claimed to be from "unit for special investigations, fraud and concealment".

Same thing!! Wish they would catch this scammer!! Josie Ocean is the name they claim to be!

I just got a call from the same people.  The woman leaving the message identified herself as Josie Ocean from the "unit for special investigations, fraud and concealment division."  My wife said the persons sounded as if they were from some official law enforcement unit, but they did not identify the police department or federal or state agency that they were supposedly with, so I presume that this is either a debt collector, private investigator or some scam to get personal information.  I have seen other posting on the internet referring to this same group at the same telephone number.  On one occasion, the "special investigator" alleged that a neighbor had stolen a car, and on another occasion, the caller asked for information about a relative, again alleging that the relative had stolen a car.  I don't know what the scam is here, but I would recommend not giving any information to these people.

I got a call from a different number 8669404817 and was the same thing. unit for special investigations, fraud, and concealment. this was a man that left a message.

I just received a  phone call asking for my brother from someone claiming to be an investigator from this number 1-877-210-0595 when i called it back it said it was "unit for special investigations, fraud and concealment division."

My husband just received the same message is this a legitimate company?

877-210-0595 x4462 is "Investigator Webb"  It appears that the caller is a Skip Tracer for BMW.  Good Luck!!!

I received a call from 1800-680-7764 claiming that they are from the "unit for special investigation fraud and concealment section" but fail to identify whether they are with Federal State....They ask you to punch in your extension and then say your name so it can be announced in order for the right person to come on line.   Never really talked to anyone there but seems like it is another scam someone trying to get information.  Just wanted everyone to be aware of this number as well.

I called 1-877-210-0595 and a woman said that they had been looking for me about some class action lawsuit that I didnt even know I was part of (baby car seat defect) but had not been able to. 2 weeks later I had a check!

I received a call from this josy ocean person. she is not a debt collector. she is looking for "mortgaged collateral" aka VEHICLES. This is what happens when you don't pay your car note, and if y'all ignore calls like this you will be faced with a lawsuit. She clearly stated to me - cause I wanted to call her out on the police officer thing - and she told me that she is a privately hired investigator hired by financial institutions and the like to find people that refuse to act responsible and DONT turn over cars and boats and motorcycles, etc THAT DONT BELONG TO THEM>>>  what the [***] people. Take care of your responsibilities, return whats not yours when called to do so, especially when you cant afford it anymore....  jeeeeeeeeez.

Stop kissing up. These finance companies are a bunch of crooks. As for not being able to afford it. If you get behind in one payment (by their fault) they send these ex-cons to steal your car.

Karen, stop kissing up.  Before you start ranting on people, maybe you should stop and listen to their story.  Maybe it isn't that they didn't pay.  maybe there is a mistake... and maybe YOU didn't pay your bill, but that doesn't mean that others haven't.  There are facts that you may not be aware of that may be contributing.  Wow..... Deep breath is right.

Just received a call from Josephine Ocean looking for family information concerning a stolen pick-up truck.  She got very upset when I told her I was going to google SB Investigations.  They have an "F" rating with BBB.  If she calls again I am going to read her the riot act.

Same name used when I received a call from S & B Investigations. Told them not to call again the girl was very rude. She told me she would continue to call and harass me at my number and gave a address. She told me she would harass me at that address. I am filing a complaint.

Got a call/voice message from Josephine Ocean from 866-766-0731 with a reference number. She is looking for my ex husband and sounded very irritated. Not sure if I'll call her back.
