I received threatening voicemail messages from these people saying they are calling because I have a lawsuit against me. I don't have a payday loan I don't have outstanding dept. my depts have all been taken care of. My family are all police and lawyers I am looking into filing a lawsuit against them since the threatening voicemail came at a time I'm currently getting ready to have serguries done and that stress is enough this is now become harassment and mental abuse. They are being reported today  I m so glad this Mitch Davis from Westwood asset management legal dept called and left this "good luck" rude message he is going down the number is traced and recorded.

Its a SCAM!!!  They violate several FDC laws!

Oh his name was Mitch Davis when he spoke with you? He was Mitch Tanner when he spoke to me. Saying I had a payday loan that I didn't pay from over 7 years ago. Said his "client" may be filing a lawsuit against me. That his "client" would be willing to accept half. Threatening. Rude. I just laughed! I played along and asked what the date of the deposit was. Couldn't give it to me. Couldn't give me a contact number for the client. Couldn't mail me anything. Couldn't email me anything.

I got a call today from a rude man name al Barnes this dude must really think I'm stupid I use to work for collections and one thing he didn't do was say that little line that all collections calls are suppose to do then he didn't want me to speak left me a voice mail being real nasty then want to ask why I want to get my lawyer when I told him I was going to calls lawyer then the best part said they have sent a certify letter and no was home to sign lol great try try someone else with that bull

HA!! I'm glad I googled this number! The guy that called me was David Brown and Timothy Fairbanks. When I asked for documentation, he said he wasn't going to waste his time getting it and wished me good luck when I get served with the papers....I have yet to receive them...

DO NOT BE RATTLED BY THESE FOOLS!!!! I don't know how they got the information they have but they are NOT REAL!!! Somebody got me before with this for a little less than $400. I only found out it was a scam after they already had my credit card info. Thank God they didn't rob me blind!

This number has called a friend of the family leaving msgs threatening to prosecute me for bad checks. Idk how they got that number (I don't even have it), but they apparently call often and the msg gets passed to me. I've ignored it cas, I've had the same checking acct for a while now, but I've NEVER even ordered any checks. Idk of a company name, just their msgs that break every debt collection law ever passed.

We have been receiving these same type of phone calls for our son, who has never taken out a payday-type loan:  EVER.

The man continues to harass us, our son, even has his caller ID set up to say he's from the State of Wisconsin!

We are filing a police report, a report with the FTC as well as the State Banking Commision regarding this Westwood Financial Advisors.

Tim Fairbanks called me today! stating i owe 1500.00 but he will settle for 500.00 today. When i said im getting a lawyer he said ya you do that Im having a processor sent right now!!! and hung up on me! its been 2 hours...and nothing yet

My brother got a threatning voicemail yesterday that they were ready to file a lawsuit against me and that it was extremely urgent that I call ASAP. I called this morning and spoke to Dominique Taylor and was told that I owe $1400 for a payday loan that I took out either in 2007 or 2009. Alot of misinformation was given. She said she was going to email me whatever proof they had against me and I can be facing criminal charges. I'm glad I googled her phone # and came across this website!

Received a call from this same people today.  When the first person I talked to discovered I wasn't going to fall into all of this he gave the phone to his so called supervisor who was very nasty and rude and began right away by threatening me.  When I asked for him to verify his phone number he simply said you have it and it won't do you any good to call me back.  When I then told him no it will not be me calling you it will be my attorney he again began threatening and told me what a terrible person I was for not paying an outstanding debt etc.   I guess when I laughed at him it upset him a little because he hung up on me.  There is no such debt.  What a scam!

Received a call from this number as my husband is getting ready for surgery today. Almost freaked me out but I knew I didn't have nor have written any bad checks! I am so glad I found this webpage and see the other comments. Thanks!

I got a call from Matthew Westerchild and he also said that I had a payday loan out there.  He called my work which I work on a Military Base.  I will be making a claim against this company today.  That is against Federal Law. This is a scam  cause there is not such debt.

Just googled this number and am glad I found out all this info.  The guy Mitch or Matthew just called me also.  I faked as if I was writing down the number and the message and then hung up on him.  Figured it would be some type of scam.  He was talking about a pending lawsuit. Dude, get out of here!!!!  Thanks guys for the info.  I just might report them too.

So, so glad i googled this information. to know we all got the same calls from the same people is unreal. Domonique has me called me everyday this week, and i ended up calling and talking to Mitch. He said the loan docs were unclear, but the loan was from 2005 or 2007 and the loan company could have been either bahama payday or tlc loans. Told him i'd never heard of those companies. He stated that I owed 1000 court cost on top of the 250 i borrowed. While i was on the hone with him, i got another call coming in from my home city, from another guy stating he was at a pay phone down the street from my house to serve papers for a summons to appear if i didn't make arrangements to settle today. wow, these people should rot in jail for this bull crap. i had plenty of money in those years, and would never have needed a 250 pay day loan (lol).

I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE PERSON WHO SUPPOSEDLY  LEFT ME A MESSAGE, SHE STATED HE WASN'T AVAILABLE, WANTED ME TO SETTLE FOR A PAYMENT THAT I DON'T OWE BECAUSE I NEVER TOOK OUT A PAYDAY LOAN, THEY TOO HAVE MY SS#...VERY SCARY, I TOLD THEM I WILL SETTLE IT IN COURT, AND THAT IM LOOKING AT THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AND IT STATES YOU ALL ARE SCAMERS! SHE QUICKLY HUNG UP!
