I received a call from this number and they told that i need pay 36.59 for downloaded music and if I didnt resolve this right now it was going to affect my credit score.

I have been receiving calls from this phone number for over a month now and I would like to know who they are and why they keep calling me.

I received this call on Feb 22 saying it was imperative I called them. They called my company's cell phone number

I have had this number call me also, but I never answer it. It is my business phone as well.

These a-- holes called my 12 year old daughter looking for my of age adult son. They were looking for money and I told them to either tell me what it is about or find your own way to get a hold of him. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN. He told me I would have to submit in writing to have this number removed I then asked to speak to a supervisr, WOW conviently they were on break. I then threatened to contact the authorities and file harrassment charges. They then said they would not call again. What a scam watch out they try real hard to get information from you. Do not respond they are a scam trying to get money for nothing.

this number just called me today and told me I have to pay 35.56 by today or it will make my credit go bad.  I still aren't sure what collection agency they are supposed to be.  And the guy that talked to me spoke very bad english so I could barely understand him.  They also left a message on my cell phone saying it was imperative that I call them back immidietly.

I do got a fast message on my voice mail along the lines of this:

This is the "taggard group" calling---it's imerative you call us immediately at 1877-466-5701"

For some reason they say this bogus company name so fast so as to confuse you as to their identity.

The voice was extremely rude...appeared to be female.

Thank God for caller ID and if I don't know you...I don't answer. This call came to my cell phone. Sounds like a scam based on all of the other posts.

This is the second time that this company has called me. I haven't done any business with them and know that a collection company has no reason to call. The call is never on my home phone but on the cell - and my number is registered with the national do-not-call list to eliminate this type of thing.

It must be a scam - my recommendation is not to give ANY information to someone if they cannot verify who they are or EXACTLY what they are calling for.

these people called me earlier today and left a voicemail saying that it was imerative that i call back at the 8774665701 number i tried to call back around midnight and they said that all reps were busy i think this a scam of somesort

This is a scam but the company namt is 'takhar group'. They wanted me to call by 5:02pm EST. Unfortunately, the fools were calling me at 5:24pm EST. [***].
Their other number is 866-329-3750. They have tried to tell others (I never bothered to call them back) that they owe BMG for CDs and such and somehow we all have the same reference number of TC5042. I have not heard from them again nor have they sent anything through the mail-but of course that would be mail fraud.

this number showed up on my cell, I answered it but noone was there! I guess Casper learned how to dial the phone.

These people call and call. Fortunately I have not answered.  I am going to see about getting the number "blocked."  They call my cellphone.

These people called me for the second time today ALSO stating that if I didn't pay my $32.01 for a cd they had supposeldy sent last year to my old apartment, it would affect my credit.
I have never heard of them and I did not receive any cd or anything of the matter. This is a complete scam. When I asked them to send me the billing information by mail they yelled at me that this will affect my credit.
DO NOT pay these scam artists!!!

Just received Cell Phone attempted call similar to other entries above. Did not answer it because of Caller ID (did not recognize the number).  The people are persistant!

These people called twice, both times looking for my daughter (who is a minor). They knew my last name and then told me that they were trying to collect a debt for Columbia House, that she had charged something. I told him that we had never done business with them and hung up.
I then reported it to my local FBI office.
I then called them back (blocking my number from view) to see how they answered.

I'm working on their address, which might require a few calls back to them. Time to turn the tables.

Same story for me.  They say 'Imperative that you call back immediately'.  They're calling my work cell phone for the second time now.  I bet there's a loophole where the dollar amount isn't worth pursuing for authorities but the still find enough people to pay.

Jack Spears called again today so I politely told him to send the bill by mail. He said by the time it will be sent it will show on my credit. I told him to send it anyway and he said he cant.
I told him that they were scam artists and to stop calling and that I have notified the police- this is the 4 call I think and it doesnt seem it will stop.
They also have my old address which is scary.

They called me tonight stating that I owe 145.00 to the Columbia DVD House from 2004. & told me the address it was supposedly ordered them from was absolutely not mine & I've never lived there. The name of the guy I spoke with was Rodger. He was very rude & told me I better pay now to avoid any charges on my credit. I asked him why I haven't received any letters regarding it & he told me that they sent bills to that other address that I've never heard about. I wondered how come they know my current phone number but they don't know my current address & in 2004 I had a different phone number. He couldn't give me any clear answer. I asked how come I never got any phone calls from the Columbia DVD Hose or them before & this account is so past due, he said they've been calling me often but I never answer, I told him I never got any calls from this number before & asked why I never got any messages & he told me it's against their company policy to leave voice mail. I told him that I'm not paying anything coz I never bought anything from the Columbia DVD House & hung up... This was all soooo weird! He was rude & I could barely understand him because of his accent. I figured he was Indian or something...

They have called me and called me and called me. They say that they are a collection agencie for CCI with collectin money for Columbia house. He had called me a couple weeks ago on my cell phone 21 times in one day on my cell. He called today May 10th the first time I told him send me a bill oh we have and I said oh no you have not. I would have paid it. He said well it is going to mark your credit I said good do it. Mark my credit. He said what you don't trust me to pay over the phone I said no. I said I have been jacked in the past and I will not but you send a bill I will and he got mad and starting yelling at me. I said you can not talk me into paying over the phone. Then he hung up. He called again and said I am with CCI for Columbia house and I said I told you not to call me send me a bill and he said I can send you a thing saying you paid in full. I said nope wont pay. Send me a bill he started yelling at me at the top of his lungs and I hung up. What a dumb ass I don't have any thing with them. The place that marks your credit is not open today. AW man sucks for him.

This number keeps calling my fax line at least 4 or 5x's a day
