Called to say my Fire Department miles card (or something like that,  they called me out of a dead sleep) "card" & it was very important I press one and confirm my card information with them.  A hold would be placed on my account until I called and verified if some charge or another was verified as legitimate.  If I didn't have my card WITH MY NUMBERS, don't press the button but call them back WITH MY CARD AND MY CARD NUMBERS at an 800 number.  Just another scam.  I read on 800Notes that many of the scammers are claiming it to be a Barclays card they are calling about and many of the folks receiving the call are in NJ.  I am also in NJ.

I also received a call from this number asking to press 1 or call back immediately to confirm a purchase and that a hold had been placed on my account.  Checked the number on this site before calling as I am becoming a cynic and don't like to provide confidential information over the phone.

I received the exactly same as other comments. it's a scam. I won't call them.

Contacting due to fraudulent activity associated with your name and social security number.  Does not identify   his company name.  but leaves a different number to call.  It is a scam.

So did I and I have multiple line so they're called a couple numbers for me about fraudulent activities
