Got a txt saying thanks for visiting our web sight and left this number any help would be nice.

Got the same text, apparently from 415 373-8156. Said to call the number for a free $100 coupon for Walmart.

I got another text message from those jerks,like 5th in a row.  same thing about the Walmart giftcard

I just got the same thing for the second time in the last 30 days!

I got the same message today, but have deleted it.  I didn't reply STOP to the message for fear that it would probably validate my phone number or something.  It's probably just another of the many, many, many scams that are out there!

I got an unsolisited text from 650-556-3922 & it said to call 877-479-9801 to claim my $100 gift card voucher from Wal-Mart.  It then said to "reply STOP 2 Unsub".  I contacted my wireless carrier (Verizon) & they said it's most likely a scam, but in order for them to be able to block the caller from our phones I had to first reply STOP, so I did that.  They said they would reverse any fraudulant charges from our account that could arise from this company.  I then went back on the web & googled 877-479-9801 & found some info through the BBB of Utah.  The company name is:  Google Money Profits & they have an F rating with that BBB office (shocked, stunned & amazed).  Here's a link so you can see it for yourself.  http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/work ... ton-ut-22241670

SPAM : I got this spam/scam on my mobile service provider "Verizon" how about you all?

message from Microsoft  call immediately

From a page at Yahoo - they froze up my machine and demand that I call that number to unfreeze. I instead did alt, control, delete and closed down the 2 pages & double checked my virus software.  Scammers

Totally messing up my computer - says it is Microsoft and I have a serious problem and need to call this number.  Making a beeping noise.  I can't get rid of it!!  Help!!

I hope you got that fixed by now but I fixed it by running ccleaner and advanced system care and that seems to have gotten rid of it for me.

Beeping from Google website I clicked on.  Said to call Microsoft at 877-479-9801 to avoid have hard drive wiped.  Hit ctrl, alt and del to get out.  Called the number a couple times just to [***] with them a little (I have a little more spare time than most) about how they could help and where they are in the world.  The Indian accent was so thick it was hard to understand, but he originally said that he was in Augusta.  When I pressed him on what state he was in he said California.  Called a couple times and got multiple quotes to fix me computer ranging from $159 to $199.  Don't do anything dumb.

While using Edge, the Windows10 browser, my screen was "greyed out" and not functional with a big popup on top saying  to call this number to resolve this locked screen. Escape key worked this time to close their intrusion. This breach of security happened several times in the past week.

Run a scan and close it out.. Its a scam

Alarm sounding, saying I would lose all my computer data if I didn't call this number.  Could not close window or website until I went to Task Manager.

I did call and was told there was something wrong with computer.  East Indian accent.  I told him nothing wrong with my computer and hung up.
