Calling about my father's affairs - totally a lie and non applicable

Continues to call about a dead person's estate...phony baloney!

Chad Wagner called me this morning 5/6/09 about my uncle's estate.  Couldn't imagine why.  Checked here prior to returning the call and sending the guy to my cousin who is the executor.  
"out of area" showed up on caller ID

Like the others, recv'd a call from this number about the "Ronnie Young Estate". Caller left her name, this phone number, & a reference number.

from this number, calling about my dad's estate, past away May 1.Trying to get me to pay his bills. My dad had no money, nothing, they won't listen.

Called yesterday re my exhusbands estate.  Left a reference number as well.Glad I checked here-.

Diana Keller called to reach the person handling the final affairs of my deceased uncle. The estate was settled months ago. The number called from was different than this number she said to reach her at. The numbers that showed up were 866/512-8711 and 571/261-0019. I am glad i checked here also.

Chad Wagoner called from 877-486-4998 and left a message that he was calling about my deceased husband's final affairs??? He left a reference number.  I knew something didn't sound right.  I hope they get caught.  Some people have no sense of decency.

Just got this call about someone I didn't know for "whoever is in charge of her final affairs".  Robbie Maliker?

I got a call from that number as well it belongs to west asset management i was left with a ref# I called back and they asked me if I was in charge of my ex-boyfriends estate.he and I have been broken up for like 20yrs WTF I told them no and then hung up, the only thing I got out of them is thet my kids father is deceased.

Rec'd a message from a John Miller stating he was handling my father's final affairs. Totally bogus! We already have people for that!

Keep getting calls from this number but no more, I've blocked them.  Apparently a phishing type request for information.  They supposedly have a file on me or someone.  Don't know who and they don't mention who.  Only to call immediately or they will start legal proceedings in 4 days.  I do hope whoever they want calls them and within 4 days.  Otherwise they are going to start legal proceedings against them.  I won't call them back.  It's a phishing operation from a collection outfit working completely outside the law.  Probably looking for the folks who had this telephone number before me.  Can't be me or anyone at this number, we owe no-one anything and pay our bills on time.  They can keep calling, I have blocked their number.  I wish them luck.  And also need to say that the individual who calls leaves no name, just a number, makes threats, and yells.  Guess they have to earn a living someway or is it the easy way by making illegal threats and intimidation.  Sorry, I just blocked their calls.  Lesson, if you get a call from them, block their number and if by chance you do decide to answer their call or call their number don't provide any information and don't get into any type of conversation with them.  They are trained to use Social Engineering to get you to divulge your name and other information in order to illegally assign a debt to you or someone in you name.  Do not provide names, telephone numbers, addresses, locations, work phone numbers.  Absolutely nothing.  If you talk to them (why anyone would would be a big mistake) just say you don't know the individual and hang up.  Any promise to stop the calls if you provide some information on yourself (name, address, etc.) will help them assign any debt to you.  They lie, lie, lie, during their trained phishing and social engineering questioning.  And the results is that they will do anything to assign a debt to you or a member of your family.   Don't answer the call, Don't provide any information, and best of all ignore them and block their calls.  Good luck.

I also received a call from Chad Wagner from 877 486-4998 inquiring about an estate after it was closed.  this appears to be a collection agency trying to collect after the creditor fails to file papers in time with the probate court. Once the estate is closed it is too late for anyone to collect from the estate, so they try a telephone collection scams.
