- D| 1 replyGot a call from this number, no one was on the other end, just dead air. Probably some auto-dialer telephone solicitor.
- Candace| 4 repliesI answered and it was ringing like an autodialer. lady came on and said she wanted to talked to the person whom looked after the visa/mastercard machine. said something about rebates or discounts on service fees. the name of the company was Incus brokerage and they represented monaries and other credit card machine companies. I told her she was a fradulant caller then she hung up on me.
- Caller: Incus Brokerage
- JT replies to CandaceSame here. I called the number back because she never left a message - it's the polite thing to do.
Got an answering machine/voice mail. Go figure.
You are right, don't give out any information to the scammers. If they can't leave messages regaridng their business and or company they don't deserve recognition. - frustratedsilence... probably an autodialer.

- dead aircalled me at work, no one on the other end. then it hung up.
- Asher| 5 repliesAnswered phone, I hear a click then they hang up. Given that I have received probably about fifty calls from several different companies all saying the same thing (how we are entitled to rate reduction on our Visa/MC terminal yadda yadda yadda), and how I keep telling them we are not interested, I imagine they keep calling and hoping someone else will answer so they can ask that person. It's even more infuriating when I tell them I am not interested and they ask, "What exactly is it that you are not interested in?" and they actually want me to verbatim tell them, IE I am not interested in receiving a rate reduction etc etc. One guy kept saying, "And?" until I just hung up. Yeah, I know you are not selling anything and we are entitled to the rate reduction but we don't use our POS machine enough to warrant switching companies. Because that's why they are really calling. You have to buy their POS machine or sign up with them. They obviously aren't calling to simply save us money. I actually agreed to receive a fax from one of these companies and they sent a five page fax that was loaded with ink. Someone I know even got a quote from one of these companies and even though they use their POS machine a lot, they still said no, but the company continues calling them. One day I hope there will be a way of suing these companies for harassment.

- Kclled today- never answered .... i google 800's before i answer!
- WillyB replies to AsherThese credit card processor jerks generally require you sign up for 5 years! What if the service sucks?
If your volume drops even a tiny bit, you have signed a commitment to pay them at the full rate. These guys are ripping people off IMHO. - pinkie877 513 4729 No message left ....
- Amy19 replies to CandaceSame for me...I told her off and hung up!
- John SmithIf there is no one there I leave the phone off the hook - with the hope that at least they will have to pay for the call.
If they answer and ask for a specific person or the person in charge of... I say, "Oh yes, can you hang on, they are just next door, I will get them." and I put the phone on the desk and forget about it until I hear the bee-bee-bee... and again, I hope it cost them to hang on and wait - both phone charges and staff time.
All this is designed to make it less profitable to 'cold call'.- Caller: Unknown
- JJust got a call from these people to our business. heard the auto-dialler when I picked up. She wanted information from our credit/debit invoices. Sounded sketchy so I asked the girl for her name and # and told her I'd call back. Looked up the number online and all available info said it was a fraudulent company. She said she was calling from Incus. Called them, went straight to voicemail. Left a message with my name and our number asking them never to call me again. Got a call back about half an hour later from a woman claiming to be the manager, who asked for me by name and asked why I'd leave such a nasty message (which was not nasty at all by the way) and I told her I don't think we need their services and not to call us again. She said if I was going to be rude with her she was going to call me as many times as she wanted to. I told her it was harassment and again, to never call back, have a good day and goodbye. She was trying to talk over me, but I hung up. She called back immediately and just laughed into the phone and then left the line open until I hung up. I called Phone Busters, which is a fraudulent company tracker with the RCMP and OPP and all those guys. They said once she had the numbers she was looking for from our bills, she could actually invoice us or apply charges directly to the machine. Heads up!!! Call Phone Busters if they call you, and *57 after they call will trace the call.

- Maribel replies to CandaceOur motel recieved the sameb a call from a girl named Brianne, representing herself as Incus brokerage. When I asked her, what she needed to know if we have recieved rebates from our credit card machine? I has her what her last name was she asked me why I needed to know that? I replied that if you are a legitimate company, that is asking about our credit card machine transaction rebates, then you won't mind me checking into your company, before I give you any information about credit card rebates. She got irate with me, I argued with her, she told me I was rude and hung up on me. This company is bogus, be very careful. Never give them any information, including your name.

- private| 1 replyThese people are a**holes, legit, or not.
They have been told nicely the first couple of times, NOT interested.
Now they seem to thrive on tormenting, Phoning once or more a week.
They should be in Court and punished.
Anyone who knows how to stop their practices please post it on this site.- Caller: inkus payments
