I called the 877-522-3683 number and it is a Mortgage Loan compnay that has a prerecorded message asking to enter a seven digit number that I received via email so a mortgage represenative will speak to me - I made up a number
2 3 6 9 8 7 4 and I got a representative on the phone, I explained that I have received numerous calls from this number with no one actaully on the phone and to please stop calling, the person I spoke with apoligized and said she will make sure to have my phone number removed from their list.

877-522-3683 has been calling my cell phone ALL DAY only to find no one there when I answer.

When dialing the number you have to enter a 7 digit number. I put in a fake number to talk to a representative. I told her that I needed my number deleted from their records and that I had contacted the company in the past but was not happy with their service and told them to delete all my information incl. phone numbers from their system. I guess this was not done.
Lets hope the second time around this will be done. DO NOT deal with this firm!

Get the same hangup call everyday.  Called them and entered a seven digit code as others below have done and was told that my number would be taken off the call list.  BTW, this number belongs to "home loan center"

I had the same problem for months!. What you need to do is call the number. When you call it won't let you talk to a real person unless you put in a mortgage number. Just put in "1234567" and use that as your mortgage number. This lets you talk to a real person. Tell them you want to be on their do not call list. I was very nice to the person as you can't blame in on some low level employee on the phone. Plus you want to make sure it is taken care of and honey is better than piss and vinegar.

These calls began the day I applied through lendingtree.com.  I was matched to "Home Loan Center."  When you answer the phone it hangs up.  When you call it back it asks for your 7-digit # which you got by e-mail.  Since I did not choose that lender, I never got an e-mail and thus no seven digit #.  Pressing anything but the 7-digit # repeats the message (i.e. you can't press Zero).  The advice here works, any 7-digit code entered twice will work. This also spammed my home phone # as well.

Do NOT do business with Lending Tree until you see a message on their site saying this is fixed.

This number calls my cell phone atleast 3 times a day.  It needs to stop!

I got the same spam class after applying at lending tree.  from the same number. I will not be doing business with lending tree.  wasnt worth the time to enter their online form to get spam called like this

This Phone # is getting pretty to be a real pain, here is the call log for the last few days

In the past month there has been calls as early as 7:30am, it's a real pain, thanks for my answering machine. I refuse to answer any call I if do not know the number.

Call after call from this company, all hours, several times per day.  I left many messages on their voice system asking them to stop, they did not.  Finally had a real person answer, asked her to take my number off, she was kinda snippy and my number was not removed.  Called again today, got a real person, a real nasty person.  I asked her to remove my name stated that I had asked several times to no avail.  I was very polite, she was not.  Finally got in touch with a woman from customer care, very nice, very polite.  Said she would remove my number.  Hope she does.

My husband was searching online for possible places to refinance our current mortgage, but never fully filled out the information at LendingTree.com. I don't know how they have found out to call our home number as we are on the DO NOT CALL listing. Thanks to Kelly I will be filing a complaint!
