Says its a debt collection. Insists you give address and ssn but won't say what the debt is.

Autodialer but won't respond when I answer. Callback, get recording in Spanish, #1 ="make a payement" #2= live rep that wants too much info. Recording said " Southwest Credit", rep will not say! Heavy middle east accent, failure to identify, repeated attempts to get my ssn = appears to be ID theft scam. Number traces to "Earth Motor Cars" either in Carollton or another Dallas suburb.

Keep getting phone calls from this number, but they won't leave a message... I won't answer because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize!!

This # calls me EVERY DAY & will not leave a message. I do not pick up un-recognized phone calls.

Whether or not the calls from the number listed on this site are actually from Southwest Credit or not, I do not know, as I NEVER answer my phone to a number that is not in my contacts and the caller NEVER leaves a message.However, I have verified with AT&T that they do use Southwest Credit for debt collections. I am currently paying monthly on the debt. I simply go to their website at www.swcpayonline.com and use a MasterCard gift card purchased from Walmart or a similar merchant to make the payments. This way I do not have to provide my personal information. I have only received one notice from SWC informing me of the debt. This is how I obtained their contact information. However, I do keep track of each card used to make payments and the date and amount paid. Every time I go on the site to make a payment, the previous amount paid has been deducted and corresponds with my records. I hope this information helps.

Southwest Credit, a collection agency, 1-877-575-9464, has been calling my phone number multiple times a day for weeks now trying to reach someone else who may (or may not) have had this number in the past.  The calls are automated and I can't get through on their system to tell them they have the wrong phone number.  I've had it with these calls.  How do I stop them?  Can I sue them?

I've also received calls from this number, they will allow my answering machine to pick up the call and wait long enough for it to record a silent message, but won't actually leave one.. I have never had any services by at&t so I'm not sure why they would be calling me, it's extremely annoying to constantly be receiving calls from unknown numbers, I do not answer calls unless the caller is on my contacts list. If an unknown number calls me they NEED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE for me to call back as I will NEVER answer an unknown caller call.

For verification purpose, I have your address (address), is this your real address? Sir, you are talking to a human" etc
