This company is CBE Group, a debt collection agency.  They called and left a long message for me in Spanish (I speak English and my maiden name is clearly European).  They asked for me by my maiden name, which I have not gone by in over 5 years.  They had an address for me which I have never lived at.  They refused to tell me what they do, only their name.  I looked them up on the internet to determine who they are, and found a number of complaints from people in similar situations who are receiving debt collection calls and it is a mistaken identity.  A supervisor promised to remove my phone number from their database.

I have received two calls in Spanish from this number and I don't even speak Spanish.  I have no outstanding debts.  I do not know why I am receiving calls from this company.

I have received several calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  I have answered twice and there is no one on the other end.  How do I to a block on this number?

I am also receiving these calls in Spanish, can't get a human to speak to ask them to remove me from their list.

If you answer and tell them to stop calling, they will. I just did it. No joke.

I am harrassed every day at last 5 calls a day.  Who are these people. I see them as a collection agency.  Apparently they have the wrong person. I am debt free.  I would like to put them on the do not call list.

When I answer, there is no one on the line. I consider this harrassment.

I got a call in Spanish but I only responded in English and the woman then spoke to me in English.  She wouldn't answer what she was calling about and tried to get me to verify the last four of my social.  When I kept pressing, she said she would let me go.  I called back later and got an automated greeting in Spanish for CBE Group

The 877 area code is from russian, I also got a call but there was no response and they hung up

They keep calling and asking for some Jose guy.  I keep telling them they have the wrong number but they call anyway.  Now they call and listen and then hang up.  Now they're blocked of course.  I'm a Mom and need to get calls from my childs bus service at all times of the afternoon .  I can't afford to be answering this crap thinking it is a schedule change, it's upsetting at this point.
