877-597-0879

Called twice - no message left

Have had several calls from the same 877-597 but with difference last four numbers. (0879;0882;0880;0878) I do not answer these calls and they do not leave a message. I am on the no call list but that does not seem to help

I have the exact same situation as Marty above, same 4 extensions that call me, evenings as late as 8pm and Saturday morning as early as 10am.  It's ridiculous!  I too am on the do not call list, but this does not stop them. I have also filed several complaints with the national do not call registry, but that has been nothing but a total waste of time.

Has called my house very day - no message left.  Did try to answer once, but only heard static at the other end.  Am also on the do not call registry.  Have complained to no avail

Calls daily, but no one on other end of the lilne.  Caller ID shows Anonymous.   Caller need to be stopped.

We are on the Do Not Call list yet this number calls us daily. I never answer the calls, but they always stay online long enough to show that we have a message.

This number calls me several times a day... Not sure who or what they are. I thought it was Harley Davidson, but apparently not. They call from about 10 different numbers, even if my payment is made on time, or 1 day late. If I tell them its paid, they say "I just wanted to thank you for that".. They are ass#$%^%.... But maybe this one isnt them.. Cant take blood from a rock, so carry on !!!

Add me to the list of people who get called, and static after a few seconds.  I have a feeling this is a
"mining" scheme where they dial and attempt to reach FAX numbers, hence the static.
Once the computer verifies that it has a fax, the call is recorded in to their data base, and sold to telemarketers who use fax for their method of spam.

Another option:  This computer calls to verify a "hot" number and when you answer, it registers it as a good number for sale to telemarketers.  

THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS [***]:  Petition your state representative and INSIST that SPOOFED CALLER ID BE ILLEGAL AND THAT IT IS A FEDERAL CRIME,  SIMILAR TO MAIL FRAUD.  

What a joke, when our "Government" puts a telemarketing law into place and essentially REFUSED to enforce it, OR allow it to be enforced.

Not sure what to think.  When I called the number back, it was for a blood drive for leukemia?

It is Leukemia Society asking for donations.....if you call back, there is a prompt to enter your phone number to have it removed from their list.
