The person claims to be a collection agency and that they are serving you with papers because you are summoned to court. They often don't give a reason why, but the most common reason seems to be for bad checks. My friend was contacted by these people looking for me, and said I was served, but you cannot be served by phone you have to be served by an officer or a sheriff I believe. They also claim to be xerox management group, what ever that is I keep getting different results when searching for the company on google.

I need a fax number. They won't give it to me and then they hang up on me.

I too am getting calls from this number saying I owe for a payday loan...I spoke with a lady that called herself "ZINA"  and she made it very clear that if I didn't comply I would then be served papers and charged with two felonies...Can they do that???

i got a call from this number as well and i called i think its a collection agency talking about a summons and that i have to got o courtthey had called my aunt out of town to get ahold of me this is some crazy stuff!!!!!

yes i tried to google this company too and i cant find it but when i put in the name xerox managemnt group collection agency it comes up with a lot of stuff!!!!

I got a call too and talke with Gena, gave same company name. so frightening had chest pains.  record the conversations!

I have been getting this number calling ,my cell phone, calling my place of employment and my mother house stating that i owe for 2 bad checks and that there is a warrent for my arrest.

These people called threatening my son saying that he had hot checks.   He doesn't even have a checking account so this is impossible.   Then they called my dad on his home phone looking for my son and threatening him.   This is crazy and simply has to be a scam.  As I said my son doesn't even have a checking account, therefore there is no way he can have hot checks!

This place is a scam. You can't be served over the phone, has to be in person or through certified mail. I have gotten calls for the last two Fridays saying I will be served papers today to appear in court, however most courts have online access to recorsds now days and their is no record of a case being filed against me, so I called and told them you can't be served over the phone and there is no record of any case against me. Then they put me on hold and hung up. They call them selves different names, but this is a scam. A debt collector is lying if his lips are moving, don't give this people any information, just give them a legal summons when you sue their butts for violations of the FDCPA.

i had a loan out that i owed money on still, this company is an ADR FIRM WHICH IS ALTERNATIVE DEBT RESOLUTION and they did not contact me a server did.. i too got phone calls about a summons and its possible to be notified prior to being served. its a company that works with process servers all over the country. if you owe the damn debt pay it, it could be ten times worse for you should you decide not to. im not a slouch so i paid it off, completely understood i owed it and forgot about it....people need to own up to there [***] and stop being babies

These people started calling again today...they called my 75 year old mother and upset her to the point of a panic attack.   They continue to say my son has a hot check and they give her all of the information.  This supposed check is from a YEAR ago.   Looks like to me if there was a hot check floating around the originating company would have turned it over the the DA's office WAY before now.   Besides that, my son has never written a check in his life!   These people are making our lives a living hell over something he didn't do.   Any advice on making this stop before they kill my mother with their threatening phone calls?????

I received a harassing phone call from these jerks today. I made the error of actually trying to have a conversation with them and their whole charade started falling apart. I am a breast cancer survivor, so for a moment they were giving me anxiety attacks until l realized that their whole deal was janky. If I am being summoned for court and I didn't do anything wrong, why would I be afraid? I'm not. If you can't tell me who the original creditor is or how much the original bill is... then I don't trust you at all. I am not opening my wallet to give anyone I don't know information for my checking account. I've dealt with debt collectors and there is no way that what they are doing is legal. But I will report them as soon as I can figure out what state they are located in. They can deal with my very legal summons for harassment.

Hello, my husband recieved a call from this company for a payday loan. They claim that my husband is going to be served by a processor and charged with a felony because we closed our account. He then said he was suprised we where not served already. What can we do. He didn't give us the name of the company just his name and extention. Can they do this? When my husband inquired about the loan he was told he has no information on the loan because he is just the server???

I called them back today and told them I was tired of them harassing my 75 year old mother over something my son didn't do.   I asked them specifically what this was about.   They said it was for a payday loan my son took out.   I told them there was no way my son could have taken out a payday loan.  He said prove it.   I said no, I want documentation from YOU.  I want copies of the contract and checks, etc. that you say he signed.   He immediately put me on hold until it went to voice mail and hung up.   Can anyone say scammers?

I know people who have spoken with the DA's office about whether or not they will prosecute you on a payday loan and they said NO WAY.....they know their unscrupulous business practices and even the DA won't take the case.   I say don't worry about it.    If they call again, tell them you demand PROOF from them.

my in laws were contacted by these people and his name was Justin Marsh. He wanted me to call 8775998744 regarding a case number.. I called them back and left a message asking them to please drop off my summons to the local state police branch and they could look me up and bring the papers to me. I also told them that this appears to be a scam according to this web page. If it is about checks I have not wrote a check in close to 7 years..

I just called state police in branch county the officer told me this sounds like a scam and if this company really wants to summon you then they need to give your papers to a officer of the law and have them hand delivered to you! He told me not to worry.

I have been recieving calls like the ones y'all are writting about. He has called my job and left threatening notes for my co-workers to give me! Then on my cell phone. As you said they keep saying it's over bad checks! I'm like you guys, I haven't had checks in years!!! Now, you tell me what lagit recovery company has a voicemail that when you call the # back they leave you have to leave them a message! Come on people, that's not a lagit company...in my opinion!
