At 10::29am a called was made to my residence landline, She said this message is for <my name> & then said her name is Melinda Hill looking to serve a COURT SUMMONS at either "your place of employment or residence.  If you want more info regarding the case you can contact the PLAINTIFF at 877 601 9201 regarding case number E000000; however, I will be leaving the office soon "looking to serve these papers".  You have been notified and good luck".  

Evidently Melinda Hill is the PLAINTIFF because she said "however, I will be leaving the office soon...."

Looking back at my caller ID I had another "unknown" 10/19 @ 1:49--no msg left & 2 other "unknown callers" yesterday 10/18 at 7:40pm & 7:23pm-- no message left

I don't know if these "unknowns" are related to TWO prior calls I received--877-784-0497 10/18 @ 5:11pm--no msg and Credit Services 406 351 4131 on 10/18 at 10:03am.since neither of them left messages.

I know for sure that I don't have any past due bills.

Got a call today looking for a relative and said that my name and number had come up in legal documents relating to the investigation. If I wanted more information I should call this number and extension 326. The caller also left a case number.

Called looking for a relative (by name) and said that my name and number had come up in legal documents relating to the investigation of a fraudulent check writing - she is looking to serve a court summons. And to pass on information to her - gave the plantiff phone # and case #.

I received a call today at my job regarding an account Allstate Litigation, the name of the company Identified themselves as.  This was about an over 2 years old with Aarons' Rental, that I had stolen property which was not true.  They would not give me an address to where they are located and mentioned that they are out of Tuczon Arizona.

This company called me 3 mos. ago stating they were going to bring a summons to appear in court, and
actually that day I was to be in court at 5pm for "fraudulent checks in the sum of $900 something dollars.

I said who are you?   The lady said she was with allstate litigation, a legal firm, then gave me to a man
who calls himself Paul, who started telling me I was fixing to be charged with "fraudulent check...from an
account I had with Check N Go.  I did have an account with check  N Go which I was unable to pay back,
they did have checks I had written to them in the amount of $525.00 I think, and that I would be served papers within 2 hours and would have to appear in court on their charges.  I absolutley panicked, thinking that this was ligitamate, they scared me so bad I started hyperventilating over the phone.  They said with the fees I had to pay over $900 or I would be arrested at the courthouse that day.

I told them I didn't have that kind of money, I am on disability and couldn't pay them until the following
month, at which point "Paul", said ok, they could reduce my amt. to $620.00 and I could make pmts.
over 3 mos, and I did...the next check I called and gave them my debit card info. to take $300.00 out,
which they did, they gave me a "confirmation number", the next month I called, they took $200.00 out same way because I couldn't pay the entire bal. and the next mo. they took the bal. of $120.00, which
actually happened this month, Jan.of 2011.  I have paid these people a total of $620.00, they said they
had bought my account from Check N Go, from another 3rd party...they sounded so real, and because
I did owe that company, I contacted them after I recieved the call from the store I got the money from and asked them where my checks had been sent, they told me they didn't know.  I asked them where
their Corp. office was, they would not tell me,  said they didn't know, I asked where their regional office
was, they didn't know or wouldn't tell me.  This all started sounding weird.  I believe someone needs to check out this company, don't think They are Legitimate either, they then proceeded to tell me my account had been sent to a 3rd party collection agency in Colo. I called them, no answer except an answering machine, so then I called info. in Ohio where one of the people at another store told me their
Corp. ofc was and information had 2 numbers for the Corp. office, both turned out to be really strange recordings, one about alarm information, very strange.  I still do not know where my checks are, Allstate Litigation said they don't have them.  When I made my last pmt. this mo. I asked them to send
me a letter on their letterhead stating I had paid my checks with Check N Go, Paul, told me they couldn't do that, but would send me an email stating my bal. was pd. in full.  Please!  I had asked them
last month where they were located and all they would tell me is Arizona, I asked what their address was, they said they didn't know,,,I asked what their zip code was, one girl gave me her home zip code,
Paul, gave me another zip code, said he wasn't sure if that was the office zip code, of course, at that
point I became really supicious, but what do I do?  I owed the money, I couldn't prove what they were saying was not true, but I had a really bad feeling about it, and when I called to get information about them they weren't willing to give me any, no address, no zip code, nothing.  I read this article from this
site today and I am totally upset....I will go to Check N Go tomorrow and find out where my checks are,
where there Corp. office really is, if there is one..lt is sounding like this is one huge scam, not only with
Allstate but also Check N Go...I am also going to contact the Atty General Office in Texas to report this
and I urge everyone who is contacted by this company to do the same.  Thanks for the info.  A little too
late for me.
