Message said urgent call from bank fraud detection unit but did not say which bank.

Got a call from this same phone number on 1/3/13.  The message identified itself as calling from TD Bank fraud department.  I called TD bank directly and my bank account was identified with a fraud attempt.  I needed a new debit card.  No funds were fraudulently removed from my bank account.

I got same call from that number and they said TD bank and I called my branch and was told the call is a scam and the number is not TD's

I got a call from this number saying that that was a call from my finanical institution about my prepaid card.  It did not give the name of the financial institution and I do not have any prepaid cards...FRAUD!!!

I got a call from this number saying it was the TD bank fraud detection unit on 8/13/13.  I called my local branch which gave me a different phone number for their fraud unit.  Turns out my wife's card had been shut off by TD for links to possible fraud.  Upon looking at my recent activity on line, I noticed there had been a $440 withdrawal from an ATM in a different state on 8/12.  The fraud unit registered the disputed charge and my wife had to go to the bank to get a new ATM card and sign the dispute documentation.  

I wouldn't ever blindly call a phone number left by an automated service purporting to be my financial institution, but I would advise contacting your financial institution directly with a number you know and checking it out.

i got a call from same number after i give my ssn she got access to my account, then she hung up.. , so i called the actual TD Bank number  as to speak i'm with the real TD bank personnel they are trying to investigate  my bank activities ..

Total scam! I called the Customer Service # on back of both of my TD Bank Debit and Visa cards after I recieved a suspicious voice message stating it was TD BANKS (not TD Bank); claiming it was thier Fraud Detection Unit callig with an urgent message regarding potential fraudulent activity. They stated it was not a sales call. They asked me to call (877) 602-4483. This number is NOT the number on back of either of my TD Bank debit or Visa card. There were no fradulent activity on either card. I spoke to the legitimate Fraud Department for both my TD Bank Debit card and my TD Bank Visa. They asked me for the scam number and planned to investigate it.

After my phone call, I called the scam number and it stated it was TD Bank, yet it did not ask me to punch in my sixteen digit number, and then connected me to a man who eagerly asked for my account number. I declined and hung up!

Do not call (877) 602-4483!

ALWAYS only use the Customer Service number of back of your credit or debit cards. Never call back a number that is not the number on back of  your credit card or debit card.
