They just called me saying I have a complaint filed against me but it's another name they used lol it's a scam

I just received a call from this number, left me a message with my husband's name stating that a complain was filed against him. I called back to get more info about it they didn't give more details because I didn't want to provide them with husbands SS number.

I got a call from this number 2 days in a row.  They say it is a complaint filed against my husband.  The beginning of the call is very garbled and hard to understand while they are giving some bogus file number.  The lady said her name is Melissa Adams and that they need us to call "The Firm" by the end of business today or they will proceed with whatever they are threatening to do.  First of all, if there was truly a complaint, we would be notified by mail.  Secondly even though she gave her (fake) name, she did not state the name of the firm or what it was in regards to.  I will not call them back...it is a scam.

Mary stated there was a compliant against me and if I did not reply by the end of the day it would be filed.

Had the same phone call as well. tried to call back and no one answered and just hung up. The person left a voice mail saying her name is Kimberly.

Same thing here. Guys name supposedly Chris Cullen, gave file number and said a complaint was filed against my mother.. {idk how they got her name under my #}  called again today saying it was noted on file, blah blah blah, I know it's a scam

Scam! Called my contacts trying to get information and social security! Contact better bureau business immediately!

I had the same experience. I could hear several  other cold callers in the background  calling other potential victims.....Shaking my head!  Always a scam.

I keep getting calls on my cell & home phones they keep asking for Carrie Ann Brown.  Something about a report has been filed against this person, who I have no idea who she is.  They never say the name of their business and when I call to tell them to take my numbers off their list they hang up on me.

Threatens legal action. Says they have a case # and will be delivering legal documents. Bring it. We have no old debt. And credit report is clean. 1) They will not identify the company they work for. 2) they will not tell you the original debtors. 3) they hang up when you tell them that since they will not answer questions 1&2 to stop calling and mail you the information. 4) they call back on different spoof numbers all the time 5)they are now harassing family members and calling them on their unlisted cell phones.  Seriously they are a scam. They are not following fair debt practices. And from reading comments on other pages debts are over 10-20 or more years old. I told them I called the police for harassment. (I did) and since they choose to keep calling and not give any real info next stop is reporting to the attorney general of my state. As per our sheriffs office advice.

Non existent debt or years past statute of limitations. Claim to want to serve papers will not tell you what company they work for. Very sneaky. Had to look up all numbers that have called to link it to this company. Will not stop calling and send information in mail. Rude. They have gotten unlisted cell phone numbers of family and have now started calling at 7 am to all hours. All day. Not BBB Accredited. Beware scam. Report to your state's attorney general. They are in violation of all fair dept practices.

Keep getting calls from private number. Messages stated someone's name that I don't know and a file #. I called them to tell them do not call me again. Very Rude. Very uncompassionate that they are harassing me and they get upset that I'm upset.
