I also received a call, from the number, on my cell.  I did not answer it and they did not bother to leave a message.

This # calls me so often that I have blocked it on my cell phone. Prior to blocking it they would leave a pre-recorded message about software they had put on my computer that was now being threatened.  The recording was always cut off in the beginning or end, so I never did get the name of "the company" they claimed to represent.  Common sense dictates it's clearly one of these creepy predators that refuse to make an honest living.  Advice: Block them if you can.
