- Mary| 2 repliesI got a call from this number and I just got a new phone #. I answered it after them calling 2 times and the second time I got an automated message from Wells Fargo asking for someone whom I don't know. So it is Wells Fargo.
- Caller: Well Fargo
- Call type: Debt collector
- Barb| 1 replyThis number calls at least 5 times a day. If i pick it up there is no one answering ....THIS HAS GOT TO STOP how do i stop it with out changing my number.....
- CourtIt is Wells Fargo, but not overdraft protection. They called me because they closed my account due to a negative balance and while I still had direct deposit from one job going in there every two weeks. Then they wanted to know when I could pay the remaining balance. I outright said, Not gonna happen, it's your own fault for closing an account that still had money going into it. and hung up on the gal.
- Caller: Wellls Fargo

- sarah31| 26 repliesIt's Wells Fargo OD Recovery Department, They are the ones that deal w/ closed accounts. They are debt collectors. They try to help you get the account taken care of before it goes to an outside collection agency. They're actually pretty nice & given the accounts are closed they know they're overdrawn & closed for a reason due to hardships, etc. For one THEY don't close your accounts. When an account is overdrawn for 60 days by federal law they HAVE to close the accounts no if, ands or buts. Funny everyone blames WF for their debts, learn to manage your money correctly & you wouldn't have to deal with them. 2nd they do not manage your money. You are an adult. You are soley responsible for managing your own money. People these always looking for someone to blame then taking responsibility for their own actions lol.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- Call type: Debt collector
- MortenThese people might claim they are from Wells Fargo, but I never did anything with Wells Fargo so it's safe to assume these guys are phishing. I can only assume the positive messages from above are from the scammer people themselves trying to make them appear legit. Do NOT give out any personal information OR confirm it. Have them leave a message, then call Wells Fargo yourself (using the actual phone number on their website), so you have some idea who you're talking to.
- Lol| 1 replyHave fun with it. If they are going to call you everyday then waist there time. I had one of the guys who called me thinking he was gay. Lol
- Call type: Debt collector
- Mark Goodwin replies to BarbIf you have a portable phone, you should be able to scroll down to "initial settings" go into that option and you should find "call Block" enter the number after you push add. If you complete the steps correctly, the phone will ring once for ever time they call. At least it will be better than it was.
- lee| 1 replyIsn't that number on a sex offenders list?
- Caller: 8776478552
- MindyWell, if it is Wells Fargo, they can just stop calling. They caused the overdrafts to my account several times when they kept my old cancelled sccount linked to my debt card. I took the issue to several Managers to fix. Not sure what their problem was. I had money to cover what I was spending. Idiots!
- Call type: Debt collector
- Tanya AndersonThis has been going on for multiple months. This number has called me almost everyday , more than once a day, and has frequently called me while I have been at work or in meetings. I am fed up with the constant calls and I want this number to stop calling me.
- Caller: n/a
- Pete G| 1 replyI bought a new phone yesterday. Immediately, I began to receive calls from this number. I thought that it was someone from T-Mobile. Every time I tried to answer it, I received no response. I call back and waited, A recording claimed that it was from Wells Fargo. I never had an account with Wells Fargo. I told the person who finally answered the phone that I would pursue legal action against them if this continued. She asked for my name. I told her that my name was irrelevant. I reused to give her my name. She claimed that she was removing my number as we spoke. I expect more calls form this shady group.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- Karen227 replies to sarah31How do you know so much bout the caller? You are right in the fact that everyone needs to manage and pay their own bills on time, but I'm curious how you know so much?. I received a call on a new number that I got and it was for someone that previously had this number. Just curious!!!!
- strange replies to sarah31I don't have a Wells Fargo acct. and they keep calling me. And I do manage my money, but confused where you got the info about 60 days, having a daughter who is a Lawyer she said that she has not heard of such a law.
just sayin - Rae G replies to Mary| 1 replyI am a Wells Fargo customer and they do not make calls to their customers. I suggest just don't answer the phone if you have an answering machine let it get it. If it is important they will leave a message. Don't call them back, there are people who have reported large phone bills because of calling these people back. The last thing we need to do is let them know the number they called. Most of them don't even know the number they called because it is a Robo call.
- Big Bill replies to sarah31Hey Sarah, do the letters F.O. Mean anything to you! I was just assigned a number also, have never had ANY DEALINGS with Wells Fargo and I get the calls. Get off your high horse little girl!!!!!!
- workcell phonewells fargo servicing was asking for Francisco DeLeon, sorry dont know the guy!
- Caller: wells fargo servicing
- Call type: Debt collector
- jamesI get calls and have never been a customer of Wells Fargo.
- Aimee| 1 replyIt is not Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo since I bank with them. They researched the number and informed me that it was not their number and not them calling. It is a scam.
- Martin replies to sarah31BS!!! I manage my money, have no debts at all and as well as my checking as well as my savings have money on it. There is no single reason for WF to call me about closing an account or what so ever. No one at a WF branch told me anything is wrong with my accounts, while I am visiting their branch at least once a month. Stop blaming the people who posted here.
