- Ken| 2 repliesReceived a call from someone, said she was with RCS(gave me their address - P O Box 901 Morrisdale PN 07647 - but note, she tried to tell me New Jesey in the call) Supposedly, it's their 45th anniversary. They were wanting to send us degreaser, hand soap, etc. She asked me a number of personal questions and made me feel totally uncomfortable (frankly, if she had called me at home, she would have heard language no real lady ought to hear from a man). Is this even a legitimate company because I'm smelling a snow job here.

- Dave replies to Ken| 1 replyI just got the same message from Mark Brown.. Same story. Sending me "free" colts shirts and hats. I agree..Something smells fishy here!! 877-672-4727. Same number and everything.. Told me he was the new rep in the area and he could not make it here until December... Fishy....LOL
- indiana replies to DaveJust got the same message two min. ago, except it was a football from colts, and caution tape and duck tape for "a great deal". i didnt give her any info and said we didnt need anything. She knew of a previous public job we were awarded and was talking about that. her number was 336-980-7049. I think there is a new scam for buisnesses. I dont like it! Something isn't right!
- JDJill Banks called me yesterday. Asked me if I watched the Super Bowl and that she was sending a football. Also asked how many employees i had so she could bring hats for everybody when she comes to visit. Also wanted to let me know she could get tickets to all sporting events. She then tried to send me some degreaser and chemical gloves. SCAM

- TerryJust received the same call. Said he was from RCS and couldnt get here until Sept. But would send me a shirt and 4 nascar tickets. Also wanted to send me some degreaser and soap. Asked for a PO #. Talked to me about a lot of personal things. I am new to this company where I work so I didnt know if this was a true call or not, because I don't know all the sales reps yet. But when I looked in our system and didnt find his company information I decided to search him out. He did give me his name and email. David Miller. Does sound fishy to me too.

- MeRCS has been calling every few days trying to get the cell number of one of my partners. It is always the same line, "I forgot my blackberry and need his cell number". When I ask for theirs, the same lame reply, "That won't work because I am on the road". Some times it is a man calling, sometimes a woman, although we have asked them to stop soliciting us over the phone, they keep breaking the law and continue to do it. They are now blocking thier number.

a few seconds agoGOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, AND DIDNT ANSWER IT, ABOUT HALF HOUR LATER GOT ANOTHER CALL AND PUT IT TO VOICE MAIL THEY LEFT A MESSAGE AND I CALLED BACK THEY TRIED TO SELL ME JANITORIAL SUPPLIES I TOLD THEM THAT I AM A DIRECTOR OF IT. THEY THEN EXPLAINED TO ME THE BENEFITS OF COMPUTER MAINTENANCE. JIST WAS BASICALLY:
Computer preventive maintenance means the operating system is more likely to be cleaned, fine-tuned and better prepared for the unexpected. If routinely scheduled maintenance tasks are not implemented, computers become infected, tweaked and not ready for whatever happens. While every mishap cannot be avoided, even small efforts made in this area increase a computer operating system's performance. Therefore, the investment versus payback ratio alone makes preventive maintenance important.
Increases Computer Speed
Running scheduled tasks such as Defragmentation and Disk Cleanup can make a computer run faster. Do not wait for a disastrous event such as a system failure due to an overloaded volume on the hard drive disk. Instead, remove excess files on a timely schedule so that there will always be enough room. Fewer computer slowdowns will result from taking these preventive measures.
Encourages Driver Compatibility
When updating drivers are a task included in a preventive maintenance plan, the computer systems are running at their best with the latest compatibility hardware and software drivers installed. Selecting "Automatic Updates" and checking manufacturers' websites regularly for updates also help in these efforts.
Thwarts CPU Overheating
When the CPU (central processing unit) is kept within a stable range that is conducive to restricting overheating, system functionality remains more consistent. Computer strain resulting from overworked processes can quickly sneak up on a CPU if it is forced to utilize the last few percentages of available memory. The CPU's power-saving options should be set for maximum performance without risk of overheating. This should be reviewed regularly in case changes to the system have occurred since the last maintenance check.
Helps Customize Performance Needs
The Task Manager can be used to allocate memory usage priority to those processes and programs that are most utilized. By viewing the Processes and Performance tabs, real-time CPU usage and peak performance days and times can be determined.

- CoryI have had Jill Banks call me at least 4 times. She knows her stuff about sports. I am an Ohio transpalnt in SC and she went though the whole "I acan get you tickets, I am sending you hats and shirts, we are a sponsor of the NFL NCAA and Nascar." I have never received anything and each time she has tried to slip me some cleaning supplies or shrink wrap. Very smooth operator, but also full of you know what.

- paulCalled trying to sell me safety equipment, when I said we were all set she tried to sell me sweeping compound. She was our new rep and could see where we had purchased in the past. She was going to come up in January and take me out to lunch. Wanted to know if I was married. She was sending all this free stuff and wanted a PO to send an order to us. I wouldn't give her one.

(253) 216-2507 - Sue replies to dThey call me all the time. I just waste their time by asking them a bunch of personal questions and that makes them really uncomfortable and then they hang up on me. they try to sell me safety supplies. I can't believe they still hVe me on their call list.
- ChadI just hung up with Terry Andrews from this place. Note that they also use phone #888-980-7628. She wanted to send me safety products and "hold" the invoice until she came out in February. After I told her I would need a formal quote and information on her company to put them into the system she couldn't wait to get off of the phone. She asked me if I had final say on purchasing matters; after I told her yes she asked what the problem was. I responded by saying that since I designed the process, it wouldn't be a good idea for me to circumvent it. I'm guessing I won't be receiving all the free gifts, the lunch the NASCAR/NFL tickets will I?!

- MJust got a call from a company RCS Construction. Wanted to send safety glasses, tape and rock salt to our office. And then she tried to get my home address so that she could send the NFL jersey and hat to my home. I Put here on hold and left here there until she hung up. What a Scam!!!!!

- Bosse'I'm more than ticked with these people. They combed the construction awards database, pulled pertinent information. Called my office to verify is address and mailed safety glasses, ear plugs, and two 10 gallons cans of degreaser to my office that no one from my office ordered. When I tried contacting them, it went into voicemail with every option, except one, the operator option. This operator says her name is Michelle, which I doubt. She then connects me with a Dan Clark, who tries to convince me that we placed the order which I know is bogus. They give you no indication how much this stuff cost or how you've agreed to pay for it but that they will send you an invoice at a later time. Note that the shipment had no physical address but a P.O. Box. They eventually faxed me over a return label. Who knows where this stuff will be shipped to. I do people live with themselves doing stiff Luke this?!
