A woman named "Ashley" called my cell phone stating I had promised to send them a "Western Union" in '07 for an outstanding school loan for my now adult son.  When I told her I would never do such a thing because we have a functioning checking accountand that we never co-signed for any loan, she put me on hold, returning once to say "I'll be right back", and never returned.  She had the last four digits of our son's SS#. I believe this is a total scam!

I have had this phone number for several years and have never known anyone by this name.
This keeps reoccurring!
When I complain about it they always say my number will be removed from their data base and I continue to get calls.

Justin with Windham Financial got cussed out by ME. He called my WORK wanting to talk to my BOSS about MY school loans!!! WTF!!! You cant talk about someones financial loans with other people. Isnt there a law against that? So Anyway, I told good ole Justin just where he could go & stick it. We had it out! He screamed & yelled at the top of his little lungs but guess what he did not affect me at all. I"m a nice little red hair girl til you start screwing with my MONEY! Then i turn into the biggest BIA around!
So needless to say.....I havent heard a word back from Justin, Ellen, or Tom dickor Harry either!
I told Justin that if he wanted anything from me that he had to take me to court.

I said" go ahead & do what you gotta do big dawg! I'll see u in court.

I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANYTHING IN THE MAIL REGARDING A COURT DATE NOR HAVE I HEARD A WORD FROM ANYONE @ WINDHAM FINANCIAL.

OH, ALSO YOU CAN SEND THEM A CEASE & DESIST LETTER TO THEM 7 THAT IS WHEN THE CALLS FINALLY STOPPED! KEEP A COPY OF THE LETTER & SEND IT DELIVERY CONFIRMATION SO THAT THEY CANT SAY THEY DIDNT GET IT.

this phone number keeps calling for someone else and this my cell phone no. and I'm the only person who uses this phone. I keep telling them that they called the wrong number.

Same story. I got a call from them on my cell phone and work phone regarding a woman who I have never heard of. To top it off, there is mail coming in her name to my address. They said they'll take my contact info off of their list. See if it actually works.

They are at it again. Two months later they just cant seem to get the damn point can they. They called me at work again!!! This time Im taking legal action on their [***] for harassment!. Whoever the lady (BIA) was that called yesterday 11/3/11 was told again to NEVER call my work again! When I started getting loud with her she just said you're wages are going to be garnished & hung up. Stupid [***] BIA BIA!!!

Wyndham financial abuse debt call on a loan already on automated payments guy threatened me to call my job and get me fired.

Called my land line wanting to confirm info. on a work appilcation. Tranaferred call to my son, call was really an attempt tp force payment( in negotiation to pay off with a legitimate counselor) was transferred to a "manager" who was antagonistically rude, get out your credit card(doesn't have one).Callers were deceitful and 'stupid'. They had a credit repor  in front of them, showing there was no card.t

Recieved a call from this number asking about another person, would not tell me who was call or the nature of the call. I ende up hanging up on the person.

got the same thing asking for someone whom I never heard of, they said they would take me off the list, called my cell where they got the number who knows!

Calling my work number on Sunday. Will report to States's Attorney Office.

Oddly, the caller asks for someone in a distant department of our federal government agency. When I ask who is calling, (since the target is someone nowhere close), the caller says "Patty." It's obviously Patty has no idea who she is calling, or what agency; they're just fishing.

Best to put anyone from this fraudulent firm on indefinite hold and report them to state and federal trade commissions.

I believe this is a scam.  No message.  Called my 84 year old mother threatening her for a school loan for her grandson paid off years ago.  We called police and AG office to report this.

Yes I received a call at my job from this number claiming.g to be Windham professional. I ask them not to call my job again and that I am aware of school loans I am currently in good standing with, but not the one they have been claiming I owe. They were demanding and rude and told me they work for the department of education and is a gov. Entity. I am tickled at this point because I talk to the DOE and was told that they don't have any such debt listed under my social. This same account has been sold to so many different collection agencies now Windham has it. Funny thing is they threaten me and claiming that it's a gov. Loan and they can garnish my wages. The gov. Has been shut down for there weeks now and I can't even contact the IRS now for personal business reasons due to this situation and they tell me that they are the gov. Yeah right!!!! Fine time to take advantage of people because you know the government is closed down so you have the right to mis represent them and try and steal money from people without even providing proof in writing that the debt is mine. I guess the gov. Will love to know they are doing this while they claim to be a gov. Entity and it is closed down not even IRS working right now so what makes Windham so damn important that the gov. Will exclude them from shutting down since they claim to work for them!!!

Guess these yokels are still around since 2009, per first complaint above.  They asked for me by name, and when i said it was my name, the man then said they were actually calling for someone with a different last name.  Crazy!  He had the last 4 of my S.S. correct, which bothered me a lot, but I said it was not my number.  Someone must be falling for this scam, or they wouldn't still be pursuing it after all these years.  Sad!

Wyndham Professionals keeps calling my phone number asking for Brook.
I have repeatedly told them I am not Brooke and this had been my phonenumber for 6 months.
They say they will delete my number and not call me again.
Well again this morning at 6:00 AM they called me.  They will not tell me who they are and I have to assume they are a collections agency.  I have no accounts in collection and my name is not Brooke.  What can I do to stop their annoying phone calls???????/////

I was getting calls from this number a few times a day for the past couple of days and each time whether the machine picked up or I picked up there was only dead air on the phone line.

This morning when I dialed *69 I pressed 1 to have them dial the number and got a recording that the number could not be reached. Then I tried dialing the number myself and someone picked up an I explained how I was getting calls from their 877 number and whenever I picked up there would be dead air.

Whoever answered transferred me to another person and I again described the situation and they said that they were trying to locate a certain person and told me the name and I recognized it as the name of the former tenant of my residence. Then I told them that the person in question had not lived at my address for over a year and they said that they would note that this was the wrong number for the person who they were seeking.

I saw this strange # and didn't answer, but I received 2 calls already.

Keep getting calls from this # regarding a student loan. Arrangements have already been made on this matter but they persist. Sending cease and desist letter per registered mail. If it doesn't stop then, I will sue them and use whatever I collect in court to finish paying off the debt. Maybe then they will get the message.
