It's "Credit Bureau of Canada Collections", collectcents.com.

This number continually calls me early in the morning and leaves a voice recording to call them back, with no further information.  Have no idea who they are or what they want.  Never a live person on the line when I answer, just a voice recording,.

When they call me, all I see is "514" on my phone.  I never answer even toll free numbers, definitely not going to answer one that just shows "514"  in the message it tells me that phone number

A collection agency based in Toronto.

This company has been reported to police Montreal, they have scammed by 80 year old mother, and took money i wasn't suppose to pay. They did not even have my credit bureau information, they pull facts from online collection survey. They Call with machine, and then there letter has no valid authorization from a collection agency. My file number 6458894, report it to your nearest area.

1/877/688/3681 called for Canadian Tire, Capital One, they do not have correct information. They do even look at the debater information. Second they get your call, they scam your phone line to get your IP phone link to access you Weber.

First it's a message saying they are a credit bureau and something to do with my file. I press "1" and someone answers "hello" and that's it. So I wait a few seconds and ask "who are you" and he answers "well that's not very polite, usually we start with hello; so sir, what is your phone number". I answer "but you are the one who just called me!" . "Sir, that's an automated call, but our office here doesn't have that info". "Well then, you don't need to talk to me then!" And I hung up.

I just cannot believe a company who calls me and does not know who I am, so I said what are you calling me for and I needed to give my phone number. I did not give it to them. I told them, you call me and you do not know who I am???? I will complain and hung up.

They are scammers BEWARE!

This is a scam. They will call you with an automated system and then send you to a voice mail. If I had to guess, this "company" is cold calling people so they can extort money from you that you do not owe. In cases where they simply call and hang up or call and send to voicemail, they are likely making sure the line is still active so they can come back to the number with a real person and claim you owe them money.

Just don't answer the call or block this number completely.

They keep calling me. Not sure why. They just keep saying they're "not going to go away"

Total, utter scam attempt and an obvious one at that. Urgent sounding, the person has your name and phone number and a case file #. Called from the number below, asked to call back "Mr. Des Armands" (or something like that) at toll-free 877 688 3681 ext. 615. No further info whatsoever which is a dead giveaway.
