Payday loan collection agency... Based out of New York.

This number called as an anonymous caller and when I answered they said they were looking for someone and were trying to serve papers on them but didn't have a good address.  Very threatening, gave me a case number and 877-689-5137 to call back.   Very aggressive.

Someone I hardly know found me in the small town I live in, said they received a threatening phone call from a said, Alan Bigsby, looking for me.  They stated he required a physical address, home phone and work phone number for me.  Provided this person with a citation number with charges of a claim against me.  The company or person is calling people and slandering my name as well as my reputation.
When you return the call all you get is a voice mail stating to leave a message.  No company name given.

got a call saying they were trying to verify address for service of process or charges on a claim????? then i call back and the line is a fast busy? they call from a blocked # and give a fake case # ...... not sure who this is but they need to learn the law and can not make claims that have not been made yet! i think i will answer the next time so i can get the comany info and report them....oh and they tell me the company is u c s mediation but can not locate any such company

I received the same call from a very out of breathe,  threatening voice, man.  He left a phone number and case number saying I had a claim filed against me and the call  was to be considered as notice.  Very strange.  Why are all these people who make these unwanted disturbing calls so unprofessional and creepy.  Since I am in the process of filing chapter 7 I get constant threatening calls by bullies.  Its really very unsettling and makes me anxious.  Do they actually call the million of americans who are going through  economic distress during these unfavorable times ... very disturbing.
