This happened to me too.  A few months back I was getting up to 4, 5 calls a day from this number and asking for a Peggy Bauers. I have no idea who this person is, and when I tried calling back they were ridiculously rude to me, yelling asking who had left me the message.  I got my number blocked but apparently it didn't last because I started recieving calls about a week ago.

ER Solutions debt collecion. Try to get you to verify your soical security. If you refuse they state you are arragont and they will not allow you to control the call. Said I know it is you and the social is correct so I will fax info to your work and hung up. I never verified my work and called back to state they do not know I have a job and was told off again by their rep. I said I do not have a job to which the rep replied you sure do and we will send info to your work via fax as you will not cooperate with us.

They called me 3 times in 5 minutes. Ofcourse, Im not an average consumer, So either I don't answer or I pickup and be a total [***] to them. Tell them to go to hell and hang up! LOL For everyone else, try sounding as tough as possible. Some people try challenging others because of their "politeness" to others.

This company started calling and I returned their call.  I told them I would like to settle the problem and before they even told me how much or who I owed, they asked for a credit card number.  I laughed and said, no, you will need to send me the documentation that shows I actually owe money and for what, please mail it to my address on file. They refused and told me to log on.  I explained the account they're claiming was in debt hadn't been used since 2007 and I wasn't logging on, it was their legal responsibility to prove they had the right to collect the debt.  She told me she would put down I was unwilling to settle because of "billing issues."  

I then contacted all three credit reporting agencies and had the reported items investigated.  All three agencies removed the negative item from this company within 30 days.  This was all about 8 months ago.

We are now getting a call from this company using the same address, but a different name.  This time they are demanding verification of a FULL social security number before they will provide any information.  I suspect it's the same debt they're trying to collect despite it being removed from our credit reports, but they won't tell us.

Unbelievable what some people will go through to get $100!  

I'm don't have any past due debts but they are still calling me.
