Just called them, and they had the purchases over the last 2 days and wanted to verify.  Nothing was hugely expensive nor out of state or country.  Discover called me on a charge made in Italy when I went there, so that's OK. I don't get this, the phone line sounded strange, the lady's voice was tinny or something, but she was nice.

So, like are we being monitored or something?  Weird to me too that they called.

I also got that call so I called my bank where I got the Visa - the person at the bank that I spoke to knew of the number and said it was legitimate.

Got 2 calls from them this morning. The first I hung up on because I just thought it was a spam call. Then I saw they called again and left a message. It just said to call immediately, DCU Visa fraud protection like everyone else mentioned. It's Sunday, so I can't get anyone at DCU, but it became more suspicious when they mentioned a charge that I don't have on my account and then the call suddenly switched to a survey and the guy I was talking to was gone.

Once I started looking at my bank account, I realized that there are in fact some fraudulent charges, but not the one that was mentioned (which isn't there at all). I'll be calling DCU tomorrow and already cancelled my card and transferred funds.

This is not a SPAM call, DCU is validating a charge on your bill.
they do not ask you your SSN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are helpful in getting resolution to a possible false charge.

This is a fraudulent number. Do not give them any information. Instead call the proper numbers DCU has listed on their website.

I never use my DCU card, never have; heck never even activated, but keep getting calls from "DCU Fraud", well I've never seen anything on my account, so I think this "DCU Fraud" call is just a Fraud call to get info from you.  Call the number on your card, not the number they give.

NOT safe, don't have VIsa, they left garbled message for someone NOT me, why concerned about my purchases now?! Obvious scam, told them I will contact FBI if they don't leave me alone! Oh yeah, they also said on vm, if I'm not so and so call them back anyway..Smell Scam people. How  to verify if they don't know who I am? Idiots!

Called DCU to confirm - number is legit.  Called the number back and its all automated and you just need to confirm that recent charges to your credit card are indeed authorized.

I CALLED THE VISA NUMBER ON THE BACK OF MY CARD AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE NUMBER LEFT ON MY VOICEMAIL IS LEGIT.It is fraud protection.THEY ASK FOR AREA CODE AND LAST FOUR SSN TO VERIFY IT IS YOU.They do this when they think something out of the ordinary happened with your card. They list the transactions in question and then you verify or deny the charges.Mine turned out to be that I entered a wrong pin at an atm so it wouldnt give me money. The fraud protection picked up on the wrong pin and so called me to verify that it was me that entered it incorrectly.
