got this message telling me about a comp to win 25k with a just reply here message mmmmno thanks

I keep getting texts from this number, and every time i receive one it takes money off my phone, and I would very much like it to stop. I was told to text "STOP" to the number to stop the messages, but with no avail. Its ridiculous I'm losing so much money because of it.

I have just spoken to my provider, Vodafone, re charges on my bill and found out that some of them were from this number. Vodafone have now put a block on my phone for all such numbers. Don't know if all providers are as accommodating but it is worth a try.

87771 is a company called NETPLAY.. TEL No: 08453892662. I fell into a trap on http://myoffers.co.uk. Report them too Phone pay plus 0800500212 they are trying to STOP this company from getting away with CONNING PEOPLE basically!

Have had 2 text this month and it cost me £4 last month the same .plz can you stop this from happening

I called ITV pension scheme from a landline to their landline and the call I now know must some how been hijacked suggest I was been entered into a competition, and that I should enter my mobile number, believing it was ITV I so at the end the message said it will cost £4 per week for entry and that I would received a text to confirm. The message then ended, instantly I realise I this was a con. Spoken to ITV and their IT dept looking into how this was done.
Vodafone suggest reply to messages and send STOP, this I have done awaiting Bill

Just had a text from this number that stated it was a free message, n thanking me for entering and to text back to enter a competition. I've not entered any competition recently either by text or online. Will report it to my mobile provider n will keep an eye on my bill when it arrives. I'll have them by their short and curlies if i've been charged for this unwanted text!

I had no call but accidentally came across an alternative number when trying to send a business fax.  If you call 01270 644140 it takes you through to the automated message where you get the choice to enter your mobile number.  I tried and gave them an old pay as you go number with no credit on.  Glad I did when I heard their response....texts cost £4 per week!

I topped up my phone with ten pounds now i have nothing left so do not let this set of thieves get your momey you have been WARNED THIS NUMBER IS A CON 87771 its on face book as a competion the children and your momey and there pocket money are in big Danger of been stolen its time to stop this number scam tex your mp so thay can stop the stealing.

I had exactly the same situation as above. I called my operator to block this number. It is outrageous to pay for incoming messages. I was paid back total amount charged.

I want to stop receiving messages from 87771

87771 costing me a fortune too! It comes from a sign up to an offer on the web I believe.
Didn't realize what was going on, thought it was free.
Ringing O2 now.

I just top up my mobile phone to the sum of £10 and within an hour I received a new message. when I opened it it was a comp. to win £25000. I did not bother to enter it as I new it was some scam but when I checked my credit I found they had taken £4.00p from the balance. I now have £6.00p left.All told I have been conned out of £16.00p. Time these people were caught

I got several, then found out my credit had gone.
I sent STOP as a text message to 87771 wiht my remainng few pence worth.

I got and anknowldgement, so will see if it worked.

i got the same thing, £4 per text.  The phone provider can't block it.  The copany is called mobile interactive group tel: 0870 248 0277.  called, found voice message to leave name and number for someone to call back.  All i can do now is wait.  was advised to send the words "stop all", which i've done and received a response saying it has been processed.  Again, wait and see.  Till then, i won't top up.

I started to get these texts too, have called Orange who said to reply STOP ALL in capitals, its a legal requirement that if you reply this the texts have to stop. I did it and then got a text immediately saying request processed. Ill wait and see now!

I was going to text STOP ALL MOTHER F******S but I didn't wanna chance it :)
