This ass-wipe calls atall hours, but hangs up as soon as the answering machine picks up.  Someone needs to learn manners!!!!

2 calls in one day, no message.  I don't return calls from numbers I don't recognize.

I have been getting a number of "abandoned" calls from this caller: The phone rings once (sometimes twice) then nothing further.

I got fedup and called this number back.. 8777108851 They said that where The Salvation Army. and wanted a donation. This is a scam .the The Salvation Army doesn't call & hang up. Don't donate.

They called and let it ring two or three times before hanging up

I called this number back.  They guy said, "I need to speak to Barbara .............
I just hung up.

Happens several times a day at all hours.

They called today asking for hubby, but would not leave a message..."We'll just try again another time," she said.  An hour later, I simply dialed the number back (877-710-8851) and found that it is a call-center soliciting donations for Salvation Army.  The kind woman I spoke with could see our data on her screen because I called from my home number.  She asked if she could just mail out donation materials to us, thus putting an end to the calls.  Since we have donated to Salvation Army in the past, and since she was able to read off our name and address without asking me for it, I believe this call was legitimate and was indeed from the Salvation Army's donation solicitations center.

If they state they are from MDS which is a call center who makes calls typically on behalf of non-profits then please don't assume they are scammers. If you feel uncomfortable contact the organization directly. In this day and age it's easy to assume the worst because of all the scams out there but in case it is legit remember there is a human being on the other end of the line potentially just doing their job.

"...just doing their job." Which is, of course, to scam you. It is never a good idea to give money to someone who calls you. Insist that you will only donate money to a cause if you initiate the contact.

I personally know a company who uses MDS, that's why I said IF they acknowledge they are with MDS then please remember to be kind. I'm not saying give money to them, I'm saying they are people doing a job in a market and world where scammers have made people instantly suspicious. I did say originally if you don't feel comfortable giving then call the organization directly. I'm not saying to not be cautious but I guess people are going to respond however rudely they want to, guess I was just trying to appeal to people's humanity. My bad!

Scammers don't leave their CID info any more than their trolls in these forums can convince us of their legitimacy.  Ask your telemarketing thief boss for new talking points, moron.

Enter you phone number here at their site for their do not call list.  Since they are non-profit fund raisers, they are exempt from the national DNC list.

This number keeps calling.  I do not answer.  Un known number for me.

As I read this, I'm sitting here wondering if you're one of the people that makes these calls. I would expect the people calling from numbers being complained about to check out the people leaving messages about their number. I don't trust you to be legitimate in the face of these comments
