calls and leaves no message, nor answers when I pick up.

Called me several times, leaves no message.

It is CMI Debt Collectors. They have been calling me wihtout leaving messages, sometimes hanging up when I answer as a telemarketer would--but I answered tonight. They specialize in collecting debt on behalf of cable tv companies. The supposed debt they called me about is from 2 years ago and the call I got today is the very first I have heard that I owe anything.

These guys call my cell but never leave a message. They have called a number of times over the last two weeks. I have also received calls from 951-737-4800 over the last few weeks also. That number is a scam. CHECK IT OUT. These guys must work together......

This number keeps calling my cell and leaving no message.  They do not answer when I pick up.  I saw where someone posted that this is a creditor. I don't owe anyone anything, so I have no idea why they are calling.

I received more than one call on my cell from this phone number, 877-712-4497. Even though my cell is on the do not call list, calls keep coming. No one ever replies to my "hello." If it is a debt collector, my record is clean as a whistle.

I have received one too many calls from this number. I answer and say hello and no one reply's. this is very frustrating.

I have been getting calls from 8777124497 on my cell phone. Who or what they are doesn't never leave a message on my voice mail. I
Get calls every day and up to 5 times a day. Its been early in the morning and late at night(8am-10pm). Also I have had a call from this number 9312274064 just a minute or two after the 8777124497
And it has happened 2 or 3 times. Its driving me crazy they call so much. I have gotten where when my phone rings I don't. Look at it and don't even answer it. That's how bad its gotten.

The caller is a debt collector. I didn't return a box to charter and they have been after 7$ from me, they are not getting it either. They call, rings about 5 times and then gone, no message. I called the number and the machine said they are "debt services".

i keep getting damn phone calls towards my CELL phone asking if im someone else and it does not give me an option to tell it to stop or no. if i get another call from this company i will file charges against the company for harassment. this is the final warning i have recorded every call that i have received from this company.

I answered the call, which came for my daughter, because I was extremely curious. According to the recording, she owes $207.70 to CMI. The message was given too fast for me to write down all the info needed, however there was an option to repeat. I didn't need to repeat it. I knew it was a mistake, but I wasn't sure it was a scam until I read these comments. My daughter died 8 years ago. I hope these people can be stopped because of the harrassement. I feel bad for the cell phone users who must use minutes to be tormented.

File  a Consumer Complaint against them with your state atorney's office.  It works especially if you have kept track of the date and times they called and what mssage they left or what they said was the reason they called you.  Barclay Bank called me 30 times in one week trying to find someone from South America who gave them my phone number when she was on a student visa a few years ago.  After my attorney general's office called them, the calls stopped.
