877-718-3229 -aka- 877-208-7761 -aka- 212-448-8300 is Next Level Funding LLC -aka- Creative Business Funding -aka- Business Cash Advance Loans -aka- Merchant Cash and Capital. They use different telephone numbers, different physical addresses, different corporate fronts and business names, etc. We keep receiving via the USPS an unsolicited spam mailing that contains a Check from them that's made out to my name, my company name, business address, etc., in the amount of $59,750.00, and the check is signed by someone named Michael Hollander. I did NOT request this unsolicited mail from them, I have NO knowledge of who they are, I have NO need for their services, and I would like them to remove my business from their spam mailing list. While the form that the Check is attached to implies that it is a Loan, it does NOT mention any type of interest rate. Also, someone could have easily intercepted this supposed Check from my mailbox, cashed it, and then left me liable for the re-payment, all WITHOUT my knowledge. After doing some research on them and checking their BBB report, they have responded to other complaints stating that it is not a Check, yet directly across the one I am holding in my hand it states "This Check is void without a red & blue border and background plus a knight & fingerprint watermark on the back - Hold at angle to view." Guess what? It has the watermarks, knight and fingerprint, and red and blue border. Also has a routing number, account number, tracking code, etc. It IS a Check. Will be reporting the company directly to the BBB.org website for misleading and fraudulent marketing.
