This afternoon received a telephone call from (887-722-7822), there was not caller ID and after five rings, the caller hung up.

It's a company called 'Direct Energy.'  I called the number back and left a voice mail message advising them that we are on the Do Not Call list, and I would be reporting further calls to the Ohio PUCO.

Called several times in one day saying they were at&t lXooking for the business owner.   They called the next day finally reaching the business owner offering a $30 a month savings on the phone bill. The business owner specificly asked which phone company and the caller finally admitted one communications.   DECEPTION!

Received a call from a "Bob Rutt" caliming to represent Direct energy, which organization would guarantee savings of 15% on my electric bill.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list, and therefore question the validity of this organization and individual.

Answered the call 7/23/10 12:18 EDT. Dead air. After about 15-20 seconds caller hang up. Probably a robo-dialer. We are on the do not call list. Caller name was Unknown but phone number was given.

*77-722-7822 keeps on calling and usually hanging up. In this great Country of technical capability, you would think we could block this junk to save everyday citizens lost time answering the phone and also stop wasting my Fax paper.

rec'd a call the man asked who was resp. for the electric bill. we are behind on our electric so i thought it was the electric companys billing dept. the man(who was very nice) informed me the we are eligable for a 7percnt discount on our monthly bill. to make a long story short- this is a big scam - IF I WERE TO AGREE TO THIS "DISCOUNT" my bill would increase after a month.. its companies like this one that ruin the image of telemarketing... buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

A con-game company trying to get customers by promising reduced energy or telephone costs. I called that number and informed the company that future calls will be reported to PUCO, etc. as a violation of  Do Not Call.

Perhaps consumers should bombard that company with calls asking for lengthy explanations of the alleged service savings and request written documentation of said savings be send to an address.

Unfortunately, companies choose to not program computer generated calling lists to eliminate the Do Not Call notifications.

Also - this same company (in Ohio at least) has sent door-to-door solicitors to drum up business. That is really obnoxious because it disrupts one's activities in order to go to the door (remember, NEVER open the door unless you personally know the door knocking person ...).

Has called and hung up several times. Today, they left a brief message in Spanish (?) ... As our outgoing message is in English, not sure why they thought that would work.

We receive at least 5 calls from this number every single business day. So far this morning (only been open an hour) I have gotten 3 calls. We are a business, not a home and therefore cannot be on the DNC.  I called the number back, left all of our numbers to be removed.  The message said "Direct Energy" as was reported previously.  And there is dead air every single time I answer the phone! Idiots.

Got a call and was asked for whoever paid the energy bill.  I asked who was calling and was told DIRECT ENERGY.  When i told her I was on the Do Not Clal list, she denied any knowledge of this list.  When I asked her for details,  because I believe there is a fine involved, she siad have a nice day and proceeded to hang up.  Oh yeah, it's a Vonage phone and I live in England!

I received a call from this number today, and I informed the caller that we are not interested in switching at this time- AKA, we're not suckers and we will not fall for your tricks. Better luck next time. These people should look into getting REAL jobs.

I received a call from them today.  they wanted to talk to the one in charge of the electric bill.  I told them I was.  They said they were from Ameron, I told them I had Tri County,  She said Oh excuse me I got the wrong person and hung up

After filing a complaint with PUCO recieved a call from direct telling my my # has been removed and no more calls this morning 1-9-12 @ 9:15am phone ring and guess who direct calling again trying to switch me when advised that a head boss put a do not call or knock on my # they said tuff S__ and would continue to call to harrass me till i switched well i called the boss back and played back the recorded call, the person was fired & the next call will result in class action suit and will use the recording in court! When that happens & I file, I will post here with the lawyers info to join it. Please make sure you document dates and times of calls.

WTG!!! I wonder if these calls could be recorded if a person received them on their cellphone. Does anyone know?

Called my office number and caller ID says Integrity Communications, which is not one of our vendors, so I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Looked up on-line and there are several legitimate Integrity Communications in various places, none of which have this phone number. I won't be answering any subsequent calls from it.

Call twice a month and do not say anything when I answer. We are on the do not call list which legitimate companies honor. These guys appear to be questionable.
