Received a letter from "Dealer Warranty Program SPD" asking me to call 877-728-6043 or 800-981-5097 for Spanish speaking people. They had my name and the model of the car. Both probably taken from public records.

While do not know anything about their company, I do know they send junk mail and I do not do any business with spammers.

Hi, I just got off the phone with another upset Scholfield Honda Customer, and I have no clue how these people are getting our customers' information, and in behalf of Scholfield Honda I apologize profoundly to these NON_SCHOLFIELD HONDA AUTHORIZED DEALER WARRANTY COMPANIES bothering all of you. For a real warranty extension from us, call your local Honda Store, and put yourself on the DO NOT CALL list for these other companies. Sincerely,

Got a letter on 4-24-09 to renew truck warranty in my deceased husbands name.  He has passed almost 2 years now and we have never owned a dodge.  My daughter and her husband do though.  How do they match up autos and names together??  It has to be a random thing with huge mistakes!!!  A broken system which no one cares to fix, the government only fix things that are not broken then breaks it.  go figure!!!!

Letter addressed to my mother (in a nursing home) claims she owns a vehicle she never owned and they will offer Extended Warranty for $$$.  Yeah right. Seem to prey on anybody. Stay away from them.

I got a letter from the SPD Warranty Program wanting me to buy their bumper to bumper coverage for a vehicle I never owned. It was my 2nd Reminder. They even have a customer ID for me to refer to.
