Numerous calls and hang ups with no message.

Five phone calls... No answer... Called back...."thank you we have your number and will call you back" can you say disturbing!?!?!?!

The reason for these and all other similar calls is to "encourage" you to purchase either hardware or software or a telecom provider service that will prevent your phone from ringing if the calling number or name is on a do not ring through list. Its the same scheme that electric power companies use to provide meter box and equipment level surge protection units for a fee so that power can be deregulated and totally privatized as has happened in Florida  under a Republican Governor and legislature even though the State has more registered Democrats.

It's part of a privatization scheme folks the likes of which we have never seen before in a society that has a growing number of wealthy citizens that do not need to pool their resources through taxes to afford any kind of tax revenue funded service. Soon you will be able to expect "accidental" fires from discarded cigaret butts and cinder from chimney's and barbeque grills using specially designed wood and other fuels.

Profit motive, if not regulated, can result in all sorts of evil and illegitimate things.

Uhm, just FYI, Florida has more registered Republicans & Independents than Democrats.  And 'regulation' is always a bad thing.  Over-regulation is what causes business to fail.  Prime example is Fannie Mae & Freddy Mac and the policy that forced banks to make risky loans.  Have a nice day.

I answered a call from this number and no response from the caller. I thought I had a problem with my phone, so I called the number back. The message I got was; "We have your number and we will return your call." Of course I received a call back.... again no response. This is very upsetting!

Who is calling and not responding when phone is answered? Why is this heappening?

STOP CALLING ME!!! You are very irritating!

I have received several phone calls from this number, I blocked them on my cell and called from my home phone which is blocked. The message said they had my number, NO YOU DON'T! They have not called my private house line and are blocked on my cell phone.

These people called me three times today. I have not bothered to answer! I did have a rather unpleasant experience last month with trying to get some IT tech support listed under Microsoft for the internet. They assured me that they could solve my problems so I gave them my CC number and paid them $49.00. They fixed one problem and left me with two or three more. When I called, unapproved charges were wiped from my account and disallowed! Thank goodness for AMEX. I now have another number and they are welcome to try to use the old one! The sobs have to be stopped!!! Em back it was now going to cost me about $199.00 and would solve all my computer problems for a year. At this point I was pissed and told him no! He became very argumentative and I wound up hanging up on him. This was a mistake.... Within a week my CC was compromised as several hundred dollars of electronic equipment was ordered using my CC. My CC company (AMEX) caught the bogus charges and sent me an e-mail to call them. The existing and still yet unapproved charges were all removed from my account and I now have a new number. The sobs have to be stopped!!!
