calling my work # telling anyone that answers that they have papers to serve me, you would think they had my home address.

When you dial this number, they identify themselves as a company called American (877) 750-9241.  They somehow retrieve a list of all of phone numbers that you regularly call and call those individuals and tell them that they have papers to serve to you (whomever they are looking for).  They do this in hopes that one of the contacts on the list will give them the information that they are looking for.  They may also tell someone from the contact list that their name (the callee) was given as a reference, they do this also in hopes that they (American) can obtain information on whom they are looking for.  If they are able to obtain this list, why can't they obtain the person whom they are looking for?  It's just a thought...
